Back Again
Oct. 24th, 2012 07:14 pmHey! I got back a little early from my travels because of a doctor's appointment, so I just thought I'd check in with the community. I was thinking about sims on the train home, and flicking through an old notebook of mine, and discovered some interesting ideas.
I had planned out a short series involving some sim bin sims with the ability to time travel. I'd even got as far as breaking my ideas down into chapters. I don't know why I stopped and never got any further with it. I'm intrigued by my thought process, but I'm a little hesitant to do anything with it. Not sure why.
I also had a story in Strangetown planned out, based on a playthrough I did in the Megahood - it pretty much follows the Grunt brothers, but Nervous and Johnny and Ophelia all come into as well. I'd be more inclined to share this than the previous idea, purely because I know it better - it's more recent and fresh in my mind.
In regards to my Wrongways, I'm putting them on hiatus indefinitely. If I feel like coming back to them, I will. But until then, their neighbourhood is stored on my external harddrive. I'm actually sort of gutted I've completely lost interest in them - I was convinced that would never happen to me in the earlier days of the legacy. It sucks because I really wanted to finish, too.
Anyway, that's what has been going on with me and my simming ideas. I should be able to get a new laptop next month ish, so I plan to be back on the simming side of things soon!
