Just getting Distracted

Recently, I had time to play Sims, and I loaded up the game, with a full intent to play the Wrongways. I loaded Rubix Uni, where I've got Grace and Whitney in a dorm, took a couple of pics, and then decided to take a bit of a break.

I had just put two kind-of plot heavy chapters out, I felt I had earned a break.

And so Riverside was created. There's five families in Riverside, the Fratsters, the Herrings, the Rauschers, the Mazzas and the Go Family.

So the families, in the order of the rotation I play them :)


The Herring Family. Amber Herring met her husband, Leo (the gardener) through the Gypsy, the way all of my original sims met their spouses in the hood. I made them all pay the Gypsy $5000 in order to find their best matches. The only rule was I had to take the first one dropped, so I've got some peculiar genetics in the hood.

Amber and Leo have two daughters, Alexandra and Rosemary, Alex being the oldest and Rose a toddler.

The Go Family. When I was rolling how many kids each family will have eventually (although I know ACR is going to have other ideas), Taylor and Angel rolled to have five kids. Taylor's a Pleasure sim and Angel's a Romance sim, so they're not the greatest parents in the world, but they've got their twins to help out.

Matthew and Meredith are two of the four teens in the hood, and the first sims born into Riverside. I love them both, they're going to be heaps of fun to play if I decide on uni. Matthew rolled Family, and Meredith rolled Pleasure like her father.

Their younger brother is named Adam, and so far he's proven to be awesome.


The Rauscher Family. Venus and Bruce are the perfect couple, much love for them both. I haven't played them too much, so I don't really have much to say on them yet, but their daughters are very different to each other. Lenora, their eldest, is shy and active, whereas her sister Stephenie is very outgoing and reasonably playful.


The Mazza Family. Cassidy and Marie are my party-a-day romance sims. Cassidy (on the left) is quite content with just Marie, however, Marie seems to throw bolts for everyone so far, male or female. That might cause some tension later on.


The Fratster Family. Erin and Johnny have some unusual genetics, but so far, they've thrown two good-looking kids, and their youngest, who I'm sure will grow into his face.

Gina and George are twins, a set of twins I really wasn't expecting. Gina was the surprise baby, but she's awesome. Tough chick who doesn't take crap from anyone, and her strong-minded brother, George. Gina rolled Fortune and George rolled Romance. If this pattern keeps rolling with aspirations, we're going to end up with a party-hard generation.

Daniel, the youngest Fratster, has so far, proven to be much softer than his older siblings, perhaps from being the baby of the family.

So, that's a quick look into the families of Riverside! They're the reason that I've only taken three pictures for the next update. :)
