Thinking and Friends

beanstalk_simsI've been doing a lot of thinking today, and I think I want an outside opinion on this. Feel free to ignore if you feel like it, I just wonder what other people think.
So last night, Rob and I decided to go out with some of our friends to the pub. Not a big deal, we used to go out all the time earlier on in the year. I was looking forward to it - I love the chance to go out and just forget about important things for awhile. Things like medication, illnesses, my debt to Student Finance and so on. It's a chance to truly chill out.
But it was boring. So mind-numbingly boring. Me and Rob spent most of the night talking to each other, before we made our excuses and left well before midnight. But this isn't an isolated incident, I seem to be finding my friends boring a lot now. Or they get on my nerves.
For example, take last Friday. A bunch of my friends and I took a train up to the city to do some shopping. Whilst in one of the shopping centres, I stopped in a shop to pick up a prescription, while my friends goofed around on the escalators outside. The "Up" escalator and the "Down" escalator are side by side, so my friends had the genius idea of one of them going up and the other going down, and high-fiving in the middle, whilst one of our other friends videoed it.
When I found out about it, I was glad I wasn't there. For some reason, that doesn't strike me as fun. It's embarrassing. Which made me wonder if I'd lost my sense of humour.
I don't know. It seems to happen a lot these days. My friends are all hyper and loud, attention seeking in public places, and I just don't seem to find that fun anymore. Rob neither. I wonder what's going on. Have I outgrown my friends? Have I just grown up quicker than the people around me? Am I just turning boring or something?
I can't get my head around all of this, so any thoughts would be appreciated.
