This week in Rubix is brought to you in family-sized chapters. Simply because the Robinsons had more than enough pictures to justify their own update - here's hoping the rest of the town keeps up with the trend of being interesting.

Oh, and the cover picture? Just something pretty I snapped on the business lot. Not even relevant to the chapter. It's nice, though, right? : )

Also, if my pictures seem less clear, it's because I've stopped screencapping, and gone back to the in-game camera. Purely because it is easier. They're still nice pictures, I just felt the need to mention it.

"HOORAY! Are you here to see me? And all of my exciting daily activities? Like smustling! Did I mention I like smustling?"

The Robinson week opens with a very hyperactive Matt. He's always up to something! And he's an insomniac, too. Matt barely sleeps, and wanders around causing chaos at every chance he gets.

Like this.

"I can see land, cap'ain!"

Wes and Michelle need baths? Tough, it'll have to wait. Matt discovering Treasure Island in the bathroom at the minute.

Speaking of Wes and Michelle, their love for each other hasn't faded. Or something like that. Neither of them rolled the want for another baby, but we're not going to boost the population using birth control!

Yes, I'm a cruel simmer sometimes.

My plan worked, and Michelle is now pregnant again.

"I feel rough...ugh. I didn't want kids. I mean, I didn't not want anymore, I just...ugh I think I'm gonna be sick again..."

Michelle's morning sickness calmed down in the afternoon, funnily enough, giving her some time to paint. Which confused Wes deeply.

"I get that it looks pretty...but what's it supposed to be, Michelle?"

Wes does not have an eye for modern art.

And the Chaotic Whirlwind that is Matt is also doing well in school. Making him pretty much perfect. I love this kid!

I don't know how Matt stays awake in school, I honestly don't. Playing video games all night, then taking a quick nap and disappearing to school. Not your recommended routine, but it works for Matt.

And Wes is just as bad at sleeping as his son.

The next day, and Michelle's bump has arrived. I can't wait to meet the baby! I hope it's a girl, as Rubix seems to be getting a lot of guys at the minute - Matt Robinson, Titan Thayer & Berjes Cameron.

And even though he'd been called to the group meal downstairs, Matt decided he would rather make his own breakfast.

A burnt muffin is clearly the best way to start the day!

"So, Matt, what has this taught you about cooking?" Wes had managed to take his son's burnt muffin away and give him cereal instead.

"That I shouldn't cook because cereal is effortless to make,"

"Exactly, son!"

Did I mention all three of the Robinsons have the "I'm Lazy" slouch, despite their playfulness?

And because it's Tuesday, Wes immediately heads down to the Robinson's Little Bar after Matt has left for school. The bar is currently at Rank 6, and I would like to make that Rank 10 by the end of the week. If possible.

"Hmm, do I want to buy a ticket and join the smustle?"

It's not unusual for chaos to break out on the business lot, either. Robinsons attract chaos and fun!

Wes even gets to stop bar tending and join in for a bit!

Because naturally everyone goes to these places for the atmosphere, not the bar, pool table, arcade machines...

I should give them an empty building with a stereo in it, next time.

Back at the home lot, Wes moves in one of his customers-turned-friend. Lyndsay Louie.

She promptly moves out, and will appear at the end of the third week. She's the last household in the rotation, at the minute.

Matt returns from school, and naturally picks up where he left off.

He also brought home a friend, whose name I completely forgot. He hung out with her, until it got dark. And you'll never guess who came to collect her...

Kana the Runaway Bride! I was surprised and incredibly pleased. I do love seeing Kana around town, in her gym gear and veil.

She also felt the need to use our kareoke machine before she escorted Matt's friend off the lot.

The next day, nothing much happened other than Matt's birthday. Which is guess is quite an enormous happening, because he's Rubix's first teenager.

This is actually pretty exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing what he rolls!

"Hey, good-looking!"

It seems Matt is a Romance sim. With a LTW of 20 different woohoos! I haven't played that LTW in such a long time, I'm definitely going to attempt it this time.

Wes doesn't seem very impressed, "I immediately dislike your LTW."

"But I guess I can't stop you from doing whatever you want, right, kiddo? Just remember, while you're living under my roof, it's one girl at a time, and no woohoo until you're an adult."

"Daaaaaad. I just want kisses and flirting and lots of girlfriends right now."

Matt's friend from earlier also grew up (hooray for Freetime!) but I still don't know her name. Either way, Matt invited her over to hang out.

And they let me know that there's a little bit of attraction between them. Not enough for rings, babies, and a house in the suburbs with a car and a family vacation home. But enough for now.

Afterall, this is Matt we're talking about here.

"NOOGIE!"

We'll be lucky if anyone survives more than five minutes in his company.

Yet funnily enough, she still wanted to kiss him. Which is nice.

Hooray, the baby is here!

And Michelle had quite a quiet and uneventful pregnancy, really. Her husband and her son were too busy causing mischief.

It's a girl! Yipee!!

Everyone, this is Elara Robinson.

The next day, in an attempt to gain him some mechanical points without me having to try really, I tried to get Matt to fix the computer. Naturally, it didn't go well.

I honestly thought he was going to die.

But he just got cooked a little bit.

"This SUCKS. My look is ruined! How will I attract girls like this?!"

I had Wes take over after that. Wes has some mechanical points.

He managed to get the job done without any more electrocutions, so it's all good.

As the week continues, it becomes apparent that Matt thinks the world of his little sister. Seriously, I've never seen a teen so interested in their siblings before.

He likes her so much I let him bring her to the cake.

Whilst we are here, please note the fact Wes is slouching.

She's cute!! But you expected that, right?

Elara is also outgoing. She's going to fit in perfectly with the rest of the family, no doubt.

And in this picture, you can witness the thriving night life of Rubix. Or something.

Seeing as Matt's the first teenager, I hadn't thought about having places for them to hang out.

The next day is the weekend, so Matt's got the whole day to amuse himself. So he visits Rubix Sports Field - the first NPC community lot in Rubix! Which also unlocks Athletic career - hence why there are so many statues all over the place, they're there to drag the net worth up.

This is also the fifth community lot in Rubix, adding +1 to our SM. Hooray!!

The red buildings are the toilets, the purple one is the dance studio, the yellow one is the bowling alley and the blue/green one is the gym.

The most popular place on the Rubix Sports Field is the gym. Not sure why, but sims are attracted to it.

Matt tried to meet people, which is a bit awkward, because he wanted to hang out, and they wanted to work out.

Eventually Matt left.

Wes took Matt to his business in order to keep him busy and out of trouble. And we're back at the Robinson's Little Bar because I WILL get this business to Rank 10 this week if it kills me.

Hence why we're not at Green Groceries, Wes's other lot.

Matt is clearly excited to be there.

And who could blame him? A chance to meet people and talk them into buying things they didn't need, like drinks and tickets.

"Should this kid really know how to mix drinks?"

There's probably some kind of law against dazzling heavily pregnant women, but whatever. This is Jo Loreen, remember. Her household is next in the rotation, so it'll be time to meet that enormous baby bump soon!

And what a better way to celebrate reaching Rank 10 than surround by your friends who are happily throwing all of their money into your business.

That's right, we're Rank 10! Just need to top the Business Career somewhere in Rubix and we can have a Business District!!

When Wes and Matt get home, Matt promptly sets the oven on fire - he was making a TV dinner when he got distracted by a sudden urge to bathe Elara. And I have no idea where it came from. Luckily Wes managed to put it out.

"Dammit, Matt, I told you not to cook!"

This is the third fire in Rubix, so now there is an opening in the Law Enforcement career - woo, that's three careers opened in one update!

That's it for this update, I should be able to update with the Loreens soon!

Statistics-wise, I'm going to post the population and that's it.

Playable sims: 12
SM: 3
Population: 36

Until next time!
