To Make It Official

beanstalk_simsSo, after trying everything, fiddling with everything, and generally crossing my fingers and hoping for the best, nothing seems to have worked in the desperate attempts to fix my Sims 2 game, and I've had to stop playing it. Maybe my laptop really cannot take it - Rob's tried everything, and we've decided it's time to give up.
And seeing as I only got my laptop last November (and I'm still paying it off), there's no hope of me getting a machine that can play the game, either. So I'm storing my Sims 2 'hoods - the Wrongway 'hood and Project Sim State - in a hope that one day I will get to finish them.
But in the meantime, I'm making the switch to Sims 3. And I'm sorted of gutted, because it means leaving all of my old projects on hiatus, but I'm kind of excited at the same time because TS3 is a game I'm only just beginning to explore.
So, um, yeah. It's official now.
