Part Seven: Bad Company
Hello again!
I am very eager to get the uni years out of the way now that I am seriously close to it, so I played another rotation. Because I want Sim State babies now, please.
Anyway, if you've missed an update, or simply want to catch up, there's an index to cater to all of your Sim State needs!

As always, we're starting off in the main 'hood with my graduates - a grand total of three. Plus I plopped some more buildings and community lots and things to make the 'hood look a little better.
And I gave it a name! All of my graduates move to Peach Bay, which got its name because I was playing Super Mario at the same time.
If you remember, 1 Day in the Main Hood = 1 Semester at Sim State, so it may seem like my graduates don't get up to much at the moment...

Jane Stacks has been graduated for awhile now, but she's slowly climbing her career and still working on her relationship with Martin Ruben.
Even if he'd rather play with Rita when he comes over.

She did eventually get his attention.
And Jane has decided this is the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with - but she'll let him do the proposing.

Which he should probably get to sooner rather than later, as it seems the first Sim State bun is in the oven.
I am so excited to meet the little one!

Over in the busier part of town, a new apartment building has shown up! Again, this is one I downloaded from the Tumbleton project.
This run-down building is the home to one of our other graduates.

Ashley Pitts rents the first floor flat, which he's renovated to suit the tastes of his girlfriend, Heather - seeing as she'll be moving in with him after she graduates.
It may not be a cushy or stylish as the fraternity, but Ashley's glad he finally has his own place.

But, of course, college never ends really - juice and dancing on the complex roof! Definitely the best way to make friends...and meet the local ladies...

Brittany Upsnott, the final graduate living in Peach Bay, has moved in next door to Jane, in another house I got from Tumbleton.
Pretty much if I've downloaded a lot, it came from there.

Brittany got a bit of a makeover when she moved here - I didn't really like the last hairstyle I had on her too much, and I just redownloaded this one, which I think suits her much better.

Brittany then spent her first day as a graduate annoying her new neighbours - it seems Brit's social skills still haven't improved!

Back at college, Allegra is still adjusting to Martin dating their old roommate.
"Are we friends? I don't remember."
I'm not sure if Allegra and Jane ever patched up their friendship after all of the messy relationship problems that took place.

Anyway, Jane wasn't over to visit Allegra, Martin had invited her. With a specific want in mind.
"Jane, this has nothing to do with our unborn baby, but will you marry me?"

Nothing says eternal romance like a cow mascot standing too close.

"Wah! Everyone gets engaged except me!"
Allegra's had the want to propose to Castor locked for quite sometime...but Castor hasn't even rolled the want.

"I bet she cheats on you on your wedding night, Sim State scrub!"
"Nope, not even an aggressive cow can ruin my good mood!"

Even with the proposal, Martin seems incredibly close to Allegra. I was worried it was a sign of the two of them rekindling their old flame, but it looks like it will be just friends.
Which is nice! They were always the best of friends, and it's great to have that back.

Of course, it wouldn't be a typical Sim State semester without everyone coming over.
Which proved to be problematic.
Joshua and Castor are still fighting. Probably over Tiffany.

Heather is still at war with Sam, because of Jimmy.
Not that Heather cares, really. It's just the principal.

And Allegra is fighting with Tiffany over Castor. Because even though Tiffany has moved on, Castor was her main lover.

Oh, and then you had Sierra, who just happened to be walking by when her ex-fiancé was on the lot.
"Look at him...playing chess on his own. It makes me sick!"

Joshua is still good friends with Tiffany, despite being angry at Castor for having a relationship with her. I mean, both parties were to blame, but Joshua clearly doesn't see that.

Martin, please. You're engaged with a baby on the way. Stop it.

This rather terrible walls-down-plumbobs-up shot is to demonstrate the amount of fighting that takes place when the Sim State gang gets together.
Seriously. It's starting to get annoying now. Roll on graduation!

Also, the Freshman household decided to share their flu with these guys. I ended up giving Martin 'Family' as secondary just so he could make comfort soup. I'm not sure if it worked.

Anyway, the semester ended. Just one semester left for these guys!!

Over at the sorority, everything is as it should be.
And by that, I mean Tiffany is up to amusing antics again.

Joshua is making sure he beats Castor in every place he possibly can.
Just so you all know how much he hates him.

Oh look, Tiffany's actually paying attention to the guy she's seeing.
These two are adorable together, but I still didn't see it happening.

Anyway, Tiffany stopped paying attention to Jared and decided to try her hand at beating Allegra again
Despite her numerous body points, she lost.

Heather the tub pirate never fails to amuse me.
Perhaps because she seemed to me like the furthest thing from a tub pirate when I first loaded Sim State.

Ivy, our placeholder, does nothing but bubbles pretty much all day.
Like most of the students on campus.

And apparently that's all I have from the sorority girls.
Over to the Frat brothers!

In a desperate attempt to get these two at least on talking terms, I sat them down at the chess table. But it's going to take awhile before they'll be friends, because they're enemies with -90 in both relationship bars.
Sigh. Fighting for the rest of time, most likely.

Obligatory, once-an-update shot of learning. Just to prove these guys do work sometimes.
Even if it doesn't seem like it. God knows how they're all passing!

Just to prove Kevin is still with his three-bolt fiancé, Brenda Hourvitz. They're incredibly cute together, if a little dull. Kevin never gets up to much.
I look forward to seeing the babies!

"WAH! Jared's going to give us all the flu!"
Share and share alike, apparently. Stupid illness.

Can you remember why Erik and Castor hate each other? No, me neither.
It's probably Tiffany's fault, though.

Ty Bubbler and the Attic of Emptiness.
Seriously, Ty and Kevin are the quietest, least-dramatic people on campus.

Despite attempts to rescue their friendship, Castor and Joshua still dislike each other.
And Tiffany looks pleased that it's her fault.

This is Samantha Curtin, a cheerleader I'm pretty sure Joshua flirted with twice or something. She's just pledged to the House to become our new placeholder.
Yes, I'm aware that this is a fraternity.
Yes, I'm aware that she's too female for a frat.
No, I don't care. The guys suck at making friends who aren't female and/or playable. In the spirit of fraternity, we'll nickname her Sam, because it can also be a boy's name.

Joshua only got engaged last semester, to long term on-and-off girlfriend, Cherry Lee - who is also a cheerleader.
Apparently falling for a second cheerleader is acceptable.

"Llama Head, they've decided to move me in as placeholder...but I like Joshua a lot. As in, I want to move in and have his babies a lot. I can't do both, can I?"
"They're giving you a shot to become playable, and I say take it!"

Well, this is getting messier by the minute.
Honestly, I thought we were just about done with the bed-hopping.

"I love you, Sam...but the house needs a placeholder...and I'm engaged..."
"I understand...I'll take care of the house for you,"
Let's see how long this lasts before these two end up lip-locked again!

Sam moved in and got a makeover. I kind of wanted to make her 'one of the guys', seeing as she's a member of a frat, hence the hoodie and jacket.
She's pretty neat. Though I keep wanting to call her 'Gina', because my founder in my first ever legacy married the same cheerleader, and her name was Gina then. And, if I remember rightly, Sam here is not a natural blonde - she's a brunette.

That's it from the frat!
Time for the last house in the rotation!

The Freshman Household are one of two households at Sim State where everyone gets along, the other being the sorority. But unlike the sorority, these guys get along great!

You know, until Tiffany comes over and starts beating Erik up.
That's the only time the peace is shattered, really.

"Tiffany, you have to stop beating up my friends. They won't let you come over if you keep it up,"
"I'm sorry...it just makes me so mad that he was with Brittany after we broke up,"

"Well, Erik's one of my closest friends. And I want you in my life forever, Tiff, so you're going to have to get used to him. Will you marry me?"

"I'm pretty sure no one has proposed to me before! Yes, Jared! Yes!"

He rolled the want, she said yes. Now we just have to hope she doesn't fool around with another three guys or something. I love Jared too much to tie him down to a cheater forever!

Jared then went outside to catch fireflies. I have no idea why, but it was pretty cool. He didn't catch any, though.

"Sierra! I see you're stealing our invisible newspaper,"
"I see you're impaled on the door,"
The pair of them actually had a nice chat before wandering inside.

Sierra quite often lets herself in. It's like she enjoys making herself miserable or something.
"He's so happy without me!"
I do feel bad now. Maybe I'll be able to marry her to someone in the next generation.

I can't remember why this screenshot is in my folder for the update. Maybe I just thought it was neat, I don't know.
That's the same mascot that was talking to Sam in the kitchen. Maybe this proves that Sim State is a small world?

Or maybe that shot was in here because cow and llama fight!
And yes, this is the last fight of the update.

That's it for this semester, and this update! I'm going to miss having these five living together, they're my favourite household.
Before I go, I'll leave you with a question:
Should Joshua choose Cherry Lee or Sam Curtin for his bride?
See you next time!
