So I haven't been active much in the last week. There's a good reason for it - does anyone remember me saying I'd gotten a new job? Well, I've started properly now, and it's been a learning curve for the last week and bit. I'm a Shop Assistant on a holiday camp, and it's quite interesting to see just how different my new role is to my old one in the supermarket.

Anyway, on the simming side of things, I started playing just for myself. You know, just playing with no particular goals or stories in mind. I started to plan out some Wrongway towards the end of last week, and I plan to get onto that soon. I have the first few scenes sketched out, as well as some ideas for other bits in the chapter.

But I had a payday recently, and I bought another expansion pack for TS3...I got the university expansion! And I have to say, I am loving it. So you guys can have some picspam.

Meet Cristina Thurman. She was created with the aim of exploring university - similarly to how I created Evelyn Summers to explore the Seasons ep. While I had some excellent candidates for university - including Jack Summers - I wanted to get to know it a bit more before I sent any of the sims I really, really like there.

Hence why we have Cristina.

Can I just mention how pretty  campus is? I like the style of the buildings - in some cases, it's similar to the university I dropped out of 18 months ago.

I'm really liking the way it looks.

I have no idea where Cristina got the megaphone from. I believe I'd sent her to socialise with some people, and she accidentally ended up in the Rebel social group. Which is fine, because it's lead to some fun situations, but it does mean I'm wondering if I'm missing out by not being in the other two social groups - jock & nerd, if I remember correctly.

Cristina is studying Fine Arts, so maybe the Rebels are the best social group for her.

Also, can I mention how much I love this dreads hairstyle that came with the expansion? I'd want it for Sims 2, but I doubt I'd ever use it in that game. It's really funny how some of the content works in TS3, but I wouldn't want it in TS2.

For some reason, Cristina likes to run pretty much everywhere on campus.

In this case, she was on her way to class.

More evidence of Cristina's Rebel status. The issue I have with graffiti is there seems to be no problems with it at all - as in, she doesn't seem to be able to get in trouble for tagging walls and things.

A professor, or at least, I think it was a professor, even tipped her for one of her floor murals.

Cristina also starts a fair few protests. She's just got to the point where she can hold a rowdy protest, which I'm going to try next time I play.

So far, all of the protests have been successful.

I found relationship building is easier with the new heat of the moment kiss. That's how she got to know this guy, Matthew, who she is currently dating.

I think the pair of them being able to take pictures like this is kind of adorable.

You can tell it's true love because he's helping her do a keg stand. Or something.

He later told her she was behaving inappropriately, and if she carried on, he'd ask her to leave.

And this is where I was when I closed the game. I noticed that the guy sitting next to Cristina was very manly...except for his tiny little pink wings!!

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Hope you're all well and stuff : )
