Hey Everyone! I'm still alive!

It's been a busy week at work - we just finished our stocktake, and man, was that mind-numbing. Spending all day counting...well, me and my boss Adam were very glad when it was over and done with, to say the least. Next week is also going to be a busy week at work, because it's Rock 'n' Roll weekend, which is a popular theme weekend at the holiday camp. I am very excited for it!

This past week I got a 3DS, so I've been addicted to that. Especially the new Animal Crossing game - me and Rob both adore it, and spend time connecting up on it and running around each other's towns, which is nice. Especially as we don't have to be in the same place in order to be able to do that - I can play video games with Rob from across town! Yay!

Another new game I got was the new TS3 ep - Island Paradise. I've had it for about 6 hours, so I haven't had the chance to poke around it much, but I do have some screenshots for you all!

HOUSEBOATS.

I love them! I mean, the ones in the game look a lot different to the ones moored up in my hometown, but probably because the sims neighbourhood seems to be a lot more tropical than my coastal English town.

And yes, that is the Llama Mascot on the back deck. I accidentally made my sim move the boat before the dude had finished delivering the welcome pack or whatever.

Obligatory shot of prettiness.

Here's my tester sim, Flossie - named after a sim born in my TS2 game recently.

They look nothing alike, though.

Something that strikes me as odd - absolutely everyone has a way of getting around on the water.

This is the postman. On a speedboat.

And the papergirl, on a jet ski.

I actually found this very amusing.

Another fun part of the game - scuba diving! I absolutely love it!

It makes me wish the North Sea wasn't so gross for swimming and diving. Because I reckon that would be fantastic to do in real life!

First time my sim heads underwater, we found a mermaid.

Mermaids was another reason why I bought the game. I loved the idea of mermaids when I was little, and I still have a little statue of one on my bookcase.

Anyway, I forgot what her name was, but man, does she remind me of Ariel!

Well. Ariel if she'd straightened her hair, maybe :P

They talked for a bit (not sure how well underwater communicating works) but Flossie couldn't convince the mermaid to visit the land, and she was running low on oxygen, so she left.

I haven't seen the mermaid since.

Water taxis! Seems like a neat idea, but it's kind of frustrating when Flossie won't swim a few metres from her boat to go diving - she gets a cab every time she goes to scuba.

And now for some pretty underwater shots!

And that's it! Like I said, I haven't really had a lot of time to poke around with the game, so I'll probably post some more about it at a later date.

As for TS2, I am gradually starting to play again.

Hope you're all well!
