I was looking through my sims folders today, and I stumbled across some Project Sim State pictures. Which made me feel guilty, as I haven't updated that since last September, and the neighbourhood isn't even in my game at the moment. And then I looked at all of the other challenges I feel like I need to update, and ended up with a short list:

  • Project Sim State, last updated 26th Sept '13

  • The Krunkles ISBI, last updated 2nd Feb '14

  • Riverside Prosperity, last updated 4th April '14

  • The Wrongway Legacy, last updated 19th March '14

  • The Boon OWBC, last updated 16th March '14

  • After the End: An Apocalypse, last updated 27th March '14

  • The Nine Prettacy, last updated 29th March '13

  • The Summers ISBI (TS3), last updated 17th March '13

...and there's more. There has to be. I just stopped after that, I couldn't carry on looking through my files.

The only challenge neighbourhood I have in my game at the minute is the Wrongways, and I haven't opened it for almost two weeks. I'm not 100% sure where I've stored the Prettacy 'hood, though I know I have it somewhere. Same as the Project Sim State 'hood.

But...and it's a huge but...I sort of feel like trashing everything so I have a blank slate. Part of me wants to leave the sim community, just so I can come back with a fresh challenge and not worry about ANY of these ones. Which is stupid. I'm not obligated to write any of these.

I feel like I'm letting people down if I give up, though. I don't want to be known as the simmer who "never finishes anything". But I just have zero interest in continuing with some (read: most) of these.

I don't know what to do about it, so I thought I'd share my frustration.
