beanstalk_simsThe essay I was struggling with last week, and freaking out over word counts and content and writing pages of absolute crap...
Well. You were all right, it turned out just fine.
I got my teacher to look over my draft yesterday, and he told me two paragraphs to cut out, two sentences that needed moving to a different section and two points to add in. It didn't take long to make the changes, and I emailed it back to him. That draft, with the minor changes, became my final submission.
After that, I freaked out. Even though he'd said it was in good form, and ready for submission, I was convinced it was awful and that he had decided that I wasn't worth helping anymore, etc. etc. Talk about irrational fears.
Even so, I found him today and asked him if it genuinely was a good essay, and that there really wasn't anything else I could do to it - though by this point, I'd already submitted it, so it would be too late to make changes anyway - and he looked bewildered and told me it was honestly a good piece of work, and there was anything drastically wrong with it, he would have said.
So everything went better than expected! My essay wasn't bad at all!
He's hoping to deliver marks back by the end of next week. I've tried my best and done all I can do, fingers crossed the grades reflects that!
