beanstalk_simsI wrote two of the prompts this weekend, and here they are! Both are for the Wrongway Legacy.
"What are friends for?"
Prompt: “I think he’s checking you out.”
Story: The Wrongway Legacy
Summary: Susannah and Danielle, two key members of generation six who I’ve yet to introduce, spot a guy who is intrigued by Danielle. Spoilery, but not TOO spoilery. As in, something similar will appear in a chapter.
Word Count: 187
Susannah pouted at her best friend, “You never want to do anything fun.”
“This is my idea of fun,” Danielle pointed out, though it was a small lie. When she’d volunteered at the theatre, she had imagined more interesting things than mopping floors. Not to mention her daydreams centred on being a glamorous actress.
“Dan, this is college. We’re supposed to be out, discovering ourselves!” Susannah could be so dramatic sometimes. She’d probably make a better actress that Danielle would.
“How we know that I haven’t already discovered myself?” Danielle protested, but she her tone wasn’t convincing. A grin formed across Susannah’s face, until suddenly, she was distracted by something out of the corner of her eye.
Danielle followed Susannah’s gaze. A guy. Go figure. The guy, red-haired and handsome, blushed and looked away as Danielle and Susannah looked at him.
“I think he was checking you out, Dan,” Susannah stated, with a grin, “No wonder you like spending all of your time here!”
“I don’t even know him,” Danielle protested, but it was too late. Susannah was already singing a childish song about kissing in trees.

"Brotherly Love"
Prompt: “Just be careful, okay?”
Story: The Wrongway Legacy
Summary: Ripp comes to visit Tank in the city, and has some news to share. Would take place in 5.5, so kinda spoilery.
Word Count: 245
There was a knock at the apartment door, and Tank answered, expecting it to be a member of Maddie’s family. He was shocked to find a member of his own family standing on his doorstep. Ripp, drenched from the rain.
“What are you doing here?” Tank asked quietly.
“You’re not going to invite me in?” Ripp shot back at him, with a grin. Tank motioned for Ripp to come inside, and Ripp immediately shook his wet hair like a dog. Tank gritted his teeth and recalled some of the reasons why he didn’t like Ripp.
“Seriously, Ripp. Dad’s going to take it all out on Buck if we both disappear.” Tank stated, with a frown. Ripp shoved his hands in his pockets.
“Do you think I’m an idiot?” He questioned, “Buck’s here, too.”
Tank raised an eyebrow, “Where?”
“Back at the hotel. With Jill.”
“Jill Smith? Ripp are you INSANE? Does Johnny know she’s here?”
“Calm down, Tank. You’re with your girlfriend so I brought mine.”
“Jill’s YOUR girlfriend? I thought she was with Buck…” Tank put a hand to his forehead, “Ripp, this is insane. Johnny will tear you a new one when he finds out.”
Ripp snorted, “Why do you think I’m here? Also, to avoid Dad, but whatever.”
“I hope to Wright you know what you’re doing, Ripp,” Tank sighed.
“You worry too much, brother,” Ripp beamed, “Everything always works out fine, right?”
Tank stared at his brother, “Just be careful. Okay?”
