beanstalk_sims | TS2 Problems

Cross-posted from my Simblr, because maybe someone has an idea. :)

I cannot get TS2 to run. I click on the icon and nothing happens, and I even tried running it through Origin.

I feel like I’ve tried everything - scanning the computer for viruses, even though everything else is working; downloads folder both in and out; restarting the computer; being logged into Origin; and uninstalling and reinstalling.

~~I have no idea what is going on! Anyone out there with a suggestion?~~
