The Rad Legacy: Fifteen!

I work a lot but today's my day off, and you can have an update!

Last time, Kassidy had to start her life over on a new, blank lot. But she wasn't alone in the world for long after meeting, and falling for, Prince Dang. Who I'm pretty sure was a gardener at the park. Anyway, as always, if you want to catch up, go to the Rad tag.




We rejoin the family to find Kassidy coming home from work.

Now, a full day is murder on my muscles, so I can't even begin to imagine how tired it must make you when you're growing a little one too!




Her partner, Prince Dang, who dislikes children, spent the day doing things like this - posing like a catalogue model.

"I'm awesome."




And when he's not pulling faces and looking awesome, Prince is doing this.

The chess table is still outside, but with no weather, I can't find a reason to try and move it indoors.




Anyway, Kassidy and Prince were getting kind of dull to play on their own, and this is a legacy, so it's time to meet that little one Kassidy was complaining about in the first picture!

Place your bets, boy or girl?




It's a boy! Cookies and cake for everyone!

This is Mikel, the second boy of the legacy - the first being Ryker of generation three. Yup, that's how rare boys have been in the past. Let's treasure Mikel!




Naturally, Prince doesn't hate his own kids (just everyone else's) and actually likes helping out with the baby.

The Hates Children trait isn't all bad, I guess!




Well. We'll see how he feels when the news of a second baby reaches him...




"Guess who's pregnant!"

"Again? Oh dear plumbob, why?! Why me?!"

I'd like to think he came round to the idea, but we might have to wait til the kid arrives first.




I've come to the conclusion that there must be certain TV channels that cause sims to get energized - no one in the house had become energetic in the entire time they've lived there until I put in a TV.

I like finding out what causes what emotions.






Look who grew up! Didn't that time fly?

Mikel gained the Music Lover trait, the Social Butterfly aspiration, and is completely adorable.




Like father, like son - Mikel is immediately taken by the chessboard.

I guess there isn't much else to do.




"Ha, Mum, you look like a hamster!"

A very greedy hamster. The Glutton trait never fails to amuse me!




Maybe Mikel should have got the Neat trait instead of the Music Lover trait? Because he's the only one who autonomously cleans up puddles.

Also, look how big that mop is compared to him!




Mikel is very much like his father, they're the only two who seem to get energized.

Also, look at his wellie boots! He grew up in them, so I decided he could keep them.




Mikel mostly takes care of himself, too.

Kassidy doesn't have time for that, and who knows what Prince does all day.




Aaaaaaand this is the point where I installed Get to Work!

Finally, I can have pictures of family over the walls! I do plan to play the careers at some point, but neither Kass nor Prince strike me as scientists/doctors/detectives.




It wasn't long before baby number two made their appearance - time flies when you're having fun!

Another boy! This is Jasper.

Do you think the gender skew is now going to go the other way, and give me mostly boys for four generations?




...I guess we'll find out soon enough, right?

I'm very excited for baby number three. I wanted more, but...I'm getting ahead of myself.




"So I'm pregnant again."

"But you only had a baby this morning! Why does this keep happening to me?!"

I love Prince's reactions to the baby news, if you couldn't tell.




"We bought you a desk, why are you doing homework on the floor?"

"I don't want to be alone."




Well, there are better places to grow up, Jasper.

I feel like babyhood has been passing really quickly. This might be because babies are dull.




Jasper gained the Loner trait, and the creative/artist aspiration. So we've got a tortured soul in the making here!

Which somewhat inspired his funky look - artsy, creative, with a touch of hipster, I guess.




Might as well give the aspiration my best shot - I've yet to complete a childhood aspiration.




"Jasper, don't you think that's too much glitter?"

"Brother, there is no such thing as too much glitter. Or macaroni."




"Am I distracting you yet, Kass?"

"Jeez, Prince, I'm just trying to make a cake."

"I know, but I don't want you to!"




"I don't want to grow up, Kassidy."

"Blow out the candles and stop being such a baby."




Yup, turns out Prince was a fair bit older than Kassidy. I managed to do it again!

And that's why baby three will be the last one - otherwise baby four would miss out on having a daddy.




"School made me grumpy. I hate people!"

But the angry stop and face made it so worthwhile! What's with the weird join line on the neck, though?




"Jasper, you need to do your homework!"

"Meh meh meh meh meh!"

"Jasper!"

"Meh!"




Okay, this is my new favourite expression!

Unfortunately, that's all I have for this time - like I said before, relatively short updates for you while I work constantly.
