beanstalk_sims | The Rad Legacy: Twenty-Five!

I'm procrastinating again. But I'll get back to work on my lab report after this, I swear!

Last time, we saw Gwen grow up and become really close with her friend Elsa. Mia was born, and turned out to be a lot more of a loner than her sister. Jairo danced a lot, Gwen became a teenager, and began a romance with Elsa. Oh, and Arrietty decided she wanted another baby.

We rejoin the family to find Arrietty digging in the dirt again.

She only has one more task before she completes her aspiration, and that is to complete a collection. I'm attempting to get all of the MySims statues, but we'll see. Turns out, it's harder than I thought.

Back at the house, and Jasper's out! Yay Jasper!

He's also doing push-ups. Energized sims never really fail to amuse me.

And suddenly, it's Jairo's adult birthday.

It's really odd this generation that the parents are so young! Normally my sims are old by the time they get a teenage kid. Maybe this means Arrietty and Jairo will be able to meet their grandkids!

Speaking of teenage kids, Gwen's found herself a new hobby.

I think it's pretty neat.

And the ghosts agree with me.

Aw look, Mia's interacting with someone instead of hiding away!

She doesn't have the Loner trait, but maybe she needs it!

After talking to Mia, Jairo headed outside to talk to Arrietty.

"So, I've got some great news, Jairo!"

"You completed your aspiration?"

"No, better! I'm pregnant!"

"Aw, really? I'm going to be a daddy again?"

"Yeah! Our girls are growing up so fast, but soon we'll have another little baby."

"I can't wait!"

After a bout of morning sickness, Arrietty was straight back out into the desert to work on that final part of the aspiration.

I've got everything crossed that she completes this collection.

Jairo, meanwhile, is working on his favourite hobby - dancing.

And with a DJ for a daughter, he gets plenty of practise!

Even if she's not actually DJing.

"I call this one the Hug-and-Pout!"

Because Gwen was so popular and friendly as a kid, I started a teenage club for her to be part of.

Only it doesn't look like she enjoys it as much as I thought she would. Maybe she'd prefer a quiet night in with Elsa.

Back at the house, and Arrietty's already sporting a huge baby bump.

"Do you think it's twins?"

"It better not be, Jairo. We don't have room for twins!"

They barely have room for one baby, really.

That afternoon, Gwen is meeting up with the club again, although this time, they're not in a bar.

She seems happier. Maybe she's just not a bar kind of person.

Of course, maybe a romantic sunset and kiss make this spot better than a club.

I love Gwen and Elsa, they're so cute.

The other members of the club weren't interested in a bonfire., but it meant Gwen got to spend some quality time with Elsa.

Back home, Mia's spending some quality time with the modelling clay.

Mia's the complete opposite of her sister, I love it.

And that night, Mia became a teenager.

Although, everyone was feeling uncomfortable due to various reasons, and not really in the mood for cake. Poor Mia.

Mia grew up gorgeous. She's different to Gwen - they both have the same nose, but Mia got her Mum's eyes and Dad's mouth, whereas Gwen has it the other way around.

Mia's aspiration is to be Fabulously Wealthy, and she gained the Romantic trait - like her parents!

To celebrate yet another milestone in his family, Jairo learnt to light dance.

That alien sure can groove.

He wasn't so cool the next day, when Arrietty went into labour.

This might be the oddest labour so far. Arrietty decided to have a sandwich, while Jairo washed all the dishes in the canteen area.

Um, shouldn't you guys be trying to deliver a baby or something?

Once she was done with her sandwich, Arrietty was ready to have the baby. Naturally, the couple were very excited.

"I can't wait to meet the little one, Arrietty!"

"Hello Mrs Rad, back again I see."

"Yeah, yeah. I know the drill. Could you make it a boy this time? And try not to remove my heart?"

"I'll do my best."

Jairo spent the entire time in the corridor freaking out, he didn't even make it into the delivery room.

Though with an expression like that while outside, maybe he'd have passed out if he'd actually gone in.

And it's a girl! I had my fingers crossed for a boy, but whatever!

This is Erica.

"You are the cutest little thing, but I'm definitely done having kids now."

And this time, I believe her.

When Erica arrived home, she was an instant hit with Gwen. Which is good, because as heir, she'll be having a couple of her own.

Mia showed no interest, naturally.

All that excitement at the hospital was just a bit much for Jairo, and he couldn't even make it as far as his bed.

That bench doesn't look comfortable at all.

Once evening arrived, it was time for cake - Arrietty's becoming an adult!

Because of pregnancy and the way TS4 works, she's now younger than her husband. Although, when Jairo ages to an elder, I plan to age Arrietty as well, to keep them more or less in sync. They were originally the same age. Ish.

Apparently, Gwen's birthday also fell on her mother's birthday.

Wow, her teenage years flew by!

And here she is, our generation seven heiress!

Her final trait is Slob. Which I thought was a bit of an odd one for Gwen, but whatever.

Lauren paid a visit that night, to celebrate the birthdays, and a new granddaughter.

I have no idea what Arrietty is looking at though.

It wasn't long before Erica grew up, and she's so adorable! And she'll have the blue hair when she grows up, too.

Erica got the Whiz Kid aspiration, and the Genius trait.

The next day, Gwen took Elsa out to the Bluffs.

Elsa is also a young adult now, although I bet that surprises no one - no way could I split these two up!

"Elsa Bjergsen, you've been a key part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I want things to stay that way. Will you marry me?"

"Oh Gwen, it's perfect. You're perfect! I will marry you!"

Some may say it's a little too soon, what with it being their early young adulthood and all, but who am I to deny them happiness?

They're so adorable together.

Well, there was no sense in waiting, and a wedding party was planned for that afternoon, with all of the usual faces present, and some new ones, too.

And both brides wore purple, which I thought was adorable.

"Mia, your sister is getting married, is this really a time for a selfie?"

"How else am I supposed to mark the occasion?"

"This is the best place to stand at a wedding!"

Who even invited that guy? I swear he knows no one here.

Despite all the distractions, the wedding went off without a hitch, and Elsa joined the family as Mrs Bjergsen-Rad.

I'm so happy. I love these two together <3

And I also love the fact that the wedding picture echoes the picture of them as children. It's so sweet having them grow up together!

There are pictures of them as teens around too, somewhere.

"Aw, my little girl got married!"

"Dance with me, Dad!"

"With pleasure!"

Towards the end of the party, Gwen apparently changed wedding dress and took a selfie with her baby sister. What really bugs me is that they can do this, but they can't actually take a photo with a child for the wall. Why is that?

Anyway, after that Gwen slipped off to Windenburg...

You see, I heard people are having difficulties with same-sex mods since the latest game update, so I decided to use this technique I saw in Nichola's Pemberton Legacy.

And with Get Together, it's even easier - male!Elsa and Gwen are both part of an exclusive club, where the only activities are to dance and to woohoo.

It's the only way to get the next generation mod-free, unfortunately.
