I actually started playing the Winter rotation back in May. But then I disappeared from the community for a bit (whilst I moved house) and then when I came back I was obsessively playing Sims 1. Plus I've had to type out this update twice as I lost my draft.

But I'm back! And it's time to catch up with Norah Titan!

Last time, Norah was living in Culpepper House with her friend Jo, whilst trying to win the heart of Miko Ojo. Norah and Miko did end up falling in love, and Miko joined Norah and Jo in the apartment for a bit - until they decided it was time to get their own space. Norah and Miko moved into the building next door, and now live at 2B Jasmine Suites in the Spice Market.

There's links to all the previous updates on the boolprop thread. :)

And here we are! First day in a new apartment!

Miko immediately leaves for work, leaving Norah to network for her job. I think Norah's doing pretty well in her job, but wherever I noted down that information has vanished in the move.

Norah's got the Big Happy Family aspiration so she often has random family-related whims that don't actually make much sense for a childless couple - like wanting this whiteboard.

There's no one to set curfews for, Norah.

She does like to leave notes and drawings for Miko though, so that's pretty cute.

Of course, once Miko comes home from work, they have to try the new bed out...

That look of disbelief is priceless. :D

Looks like Norah and Miko will be adding to their little family!

"Hey Miko, want to hear something really fun?"

"Sure..?"

"We're going to be parents!!"

"We only moved into our flat six hours ago and we're already pregnant?"

That's the sims for you. Honestly, it does feel a little soon. But I really want to progress with Norah's aspiration - all she wants is some little ones to chase around!

Miko did come around to the idea. And Norah looks so cute with her little sweater and her little bump!

That evening, Norah invites round the rest of the Culpepper Pals - minus Kirby - to share her good news.

They all seemed pretty pleased.

"It's going to be so much fun! Do you think I should do that thing where I match the baby's clothes to mine? Twinning is winning, right?"

Jo genuinely looks like she's unconvinced but going along with it.

At some point during the evening, aliens stop by and take Miko.

I don't think females can get pregnant from alien abduction. Miko didn't anyway. Which is great, with Norah being pregnant - I haven't had a baby in TS4 in so long, I kind of want to keep things as easy as possible to begin with.

No one inside noticed Miko had been taken.

"Jo! I want you to have a key to my apartment. Come by whenever, it'll be like old times!"

The following morning, both Norah and Miko were working, leaving me with nothing much to do but people watch.

I watched Jo get her morning cup of tea from the food stand.

I found a random plate of curry.

And I admired the autumn leaves.

Honestly love having seasons and weather <3

Norah eventually came home, feeling very pregnant, but also with a promotion.

And when Miko came home, it was time for an evening of domestic bliss...

Featuring Jo, who showed up to raid the fridge.

Can't tell if Miko is pleased to see Jo, or passively agressively pointing out that she and Norah could do with a quiet night alone. Norah looks pretty tired, right?

Jo didn't stay long after that - I guess she got the hint.

While Miko and Norah were asleep, I ended up people watching again - there's always something going on in the Spice Market!

Wherever this girl has been looks fun!

This townie is a style icon, honestly.

Pregnancy has been pretty hard on Norah so far, but probably only because she has to work so much.

Not that she's getting a break today, unfortunately.

She's making me feel guilty. But they really do need the money.

I get to spend the day with Miko while Norah works, so it's off to the Fashion District...

Because it's time for Geek Con! How many llamas can you fit in one selfie??

Miko has the Geek trait, so I felt like she needed to go to Geek Con. I was kicking myself afterwards for not putting her in cosplay.

Miko had the option to "take photo with cosplayer" when I clicked on this guy - what is he cosplaying as??

Norah was back by the time Miko got home from Geek Con, looking happier than she had done first thing this morning.

Miko also got some new clothes when they got back, as I realised she was wearing the same dress as Adora and didn't really want them matching.

Another day dawns, but this one is special - the first baby of the Culpepper Pals is due to arrive today!

Both Norah and Miko took family leave, and the day gets off to a quiet, calm start.

Domestic bliss, but constantly.

I think I'm more impatient for the baby than they are.

Norah's nap was unfortunately interrupted by labour. Which sucks for her, but is pretty exciting for the rest of us.

"My girlfriend's in labour, I'd better make a salad!"

Shortly after Miko completed her salad, Norah gave birth to a little baby boy - meet David Titan-Ojo!

Also meet David's twin, Oliver Titan-Ojo! I have absolutely no idea which baby is which! :)

So much for easing myself back into family gameplay, looks like I'm being dropped in at the deep end.

Everyone asleep is a beautiful and rare sight.

I hope you're ready for toddlers and chaos and no sleep ever again.

David is in the top image, Oliver is in the bottom one.

I did have their traits written down, but I lost that notebook in the move. I'll have to check next time I open up the game.

"This is all I've ever wanted, and this is going to be great!"

Even David looks doubtful. I find TS4 toddlers hard work.

At least Norah's not in this alone, I suppose. Getting the kids to bed is a task and a half, I'll tell you.

David's bed is also now Norah's favourite spot to eat cereal.

"I can keep an eye on my beautiful babies, and have a balanced breakfast at the same time!"

Can you guess what day it is?

There's hardly any room to move in this flat, let alone for gnomes to appear and move around.

Harvestfest hugs! These two are so cute!

I don't think they look much like their parents, though?

Turn my back for a second and David makes a run for it. I didn't realise they could leave the apartment building by themselves!

Whilst trying to convince David to go back inside, I spotted Jo talking with Salim.

Whatever he's saying, she's totally not buying it!

"I'm going to make a beautiful grand meal, and we're all going to sit down as a family and enjoy it."

"This isn't the grand meal I envisioned."

With the kids grouchy and running around? It went as well as expected really.

"I've cleared the table so now you want something to eat, right?"

Sounds about right. Also, I love the way she's looking at him.

Later that night, Jo popped by unannounced, probably hoping to score some leftovers.

"How's life with two toddlers?"

"Completely bonkers, Jo. We're both exhausted all the time, and this apartment is a bit small for the four of us..."

Once the kids were in bed, and Jo had headed home stuffed full of leftovers, Norah and Miko finally had some alone time together.

"I think parenting is harder than I expected it to be," Norah admitted, "And it definitely doesn't help that we're all tripping over each other all the time."

"We weren't really prepared for twins, I guess," Miko replied, "But we can't afford anything bigger in the city. We'll just have to make the best of it."

"I mean...we don't have to stay in the city, I suppose," Miko smiled, "There are other places to go. Windenburg's only an hour away by train."

"I always thought I'd stay in San Myshuno," Norah replied, "I thought I'd always live in the Spice Market, if I'm honest. But this is probably the right thing to do. For the twins."

"So we're going to do it? We're going to buy a house in Windenburg?!" Miko already seemed excited at the prospect, "With a garden for the kids to play in..."

Norah smiled, "We're moving to Windenburg."

After Miko went to bed full of plans and excitement, Norah slipped outside for a quick cup of tea by herself.

"Everything is about to change. Again." Norah said to herself, sipping her cup of tea.

The following day was the family's last day living in the city, and Norah had to work all day, leaving Miko alone with the kids.

The two of them are a handful, to say the least.

Very cute, but they don't half keep you busy.

This hallway was full of gunk by the time the twins left. I'm the neighbours were very appreciative.

Speaking of neighbours, this guy waited until the twins were asleep to throw a party. And then, after he'd woken them up, decided to come in and hang out with Miko.

I can't say I'll miss that when they move.

Norah came home from work, and I'm guessing Jo remembered her schedule because she turned up at the same time.

"I can't believe you guys are actually leaving. Who will I randomly visit everyday?"

"I'm sure Adora or Dusty wouldn't mind the company," Norah grinned, "Besides, you can still come see me whenever you like. We're not that far away."

Later that night, the neighbours were partying again. Norah and Miko only have one neighbour - and once again, they had waited until the twins had just gone to bed.

"You woke my toddlers up, you jerks!"

No one bothered to come out and see what the commotion was.

We'll call Oliver making a mess outside their flat revenge.

David tried to join in too, just in completely the wrong place.

Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?

No one could go to bed for such a long time, I'm so mad at their neighbours right now.

Morning rolls around and it's time to say goodbye to the apartment.

The paint splotches can be a gift for the next resident.

And here is their little cottage in gloomy little Windenburg!

I really didn't expect to be moving a family out of the city so soon, but honestly I couldn't cope with the apartment set up anymore. The neighbours, the kids disappearing outside, and the complete lack of space...so here we are!

Home sweet home!

"Well, you can't have too much black pepper, can you?"

The recipe probably called for just a pinch. Norah tries so hard to be a domestic goddess, but it just doesn't quite work out for her :) I appreciate her enthusiasm all the same.

"The kids are asleep and no one's going to wake them up! Dance party time!"

That evening, some familiar faces are invited over.

"Your house is so cute, Norah! I'm so jealous!" Adora grinned, "It's perfect for you guys!"

"We've only lived here twelve hours and it is already the best, honestly."

"We all hope you two are very happy here, Norah."

"Thanks, Jo."

And that's all I have for the Titan family this rotation! Hopefully it won't take me too long to put up the next update - we're visiting Dusty Brows next!
