Hello again! We're getting through spring fairly quickly, it seems! Time for another update!

Last time, Dusty Brows became a 2 star celebrity and decided to celebrate by having dinner with her crush, Summer Holiday. It went well, and they shared a kiss outside the restaurant. They became girlfriends at the Humour & Hijinks festival, and 'enjoyed' a date at the ice cream shop in a blizzard. Summer moved in and the couple celebrated their first Winterfest together, followed by a short trip to Sulani. At the end of the rotation, Dusty proposed to Summer and she accepted.

"Dusty," Summer asked, her voice echoing around the empty penthouse, "Are you sure we can afford this?"

The huge windows, the fantastic view, the open planned living space...it all seemed too good to be true.

"We can afford it, Summer. There'll even be money left to add in a pool, and get some new furniture."

"Our own pool? Up here?"

Dusty grinned.

"We're going to live happily ever after." Dusty insisted, pulling Summer into a hug.

Well, how else do you spend your first morning in a new place?

Dusty had made quite a bit of cash from her art, it just made sense for them to move up in the world. Dusty and Summer now live in the Fountainview Penthouse in the Arts Quarter. They're the first family to live in a different part of the city!

I actually love the views! A totally different skyline for me to look at!

I still spot new things when I load their lot. I've never had a sim live in the Arts Quarter before!

It's the perfect spot to set up an outdoor easel!

I'm sure Dusty and Summer are going to be very happy here.

Aaand the welcome wagon arrives! Including Salim Benali, that guy Jo liked for a little while. I think he lives in one of the other apartment buildings around here.

As for the others, I have no idea. They didn't stay long.

Also, Dusty wasn't kidding when she spoke about adding in a pool.

There was a lot of free space I wasn't sure what to do with. A pool seems like something a penthouse needs.

I think the first day of the rotation was mostly spent having guests over, including Summer's old house mate, Liberty Lee.

I guess when you move everyone is curious about your new place? I know my relatives and friends were when I moved earlier this year.

A small housewarming party was thrown that night, with all the Culpepper Pals in attendance. Although not Elsie and Venus, they weren't in the 'hood at this point.

There were also a few other familiar faces, sims Dusty and Summer had met and Jo's parties and apparently taken a liking to. Plus a random old man!

"This is the life."

It sure looks like there's something going on between these two! Or it might just have paused at the perfect moment.

Adora, meanwhile, spent the evening imitating the art.

I think everyone had a pretty good time.

The following morning was bright and beautiful, perfect for getting back to your career as an artist.

It was a very peaceful morning for the couple.

However, they had big plans for the afternoon...

Apparently clear skies in the city doesn't guarantee clear skies in Newcrest...looks like Dusty and Summer will have to endure a light drizzle on their wedding day!

With TS2, I used to have a props box that I used to give my brides bouquets. I kinda miss it, Summer looks a little incomplete without flowers.

I suppose I could've found something if I'd looked, but I didn't think about it until afterwards. She looks really pretty all the same.

Why are the guests always late to sit down at these things?

I think someone just told Caleb there's no wedding cake.

The married couple, everyone! <3

They're both keeping their surnames. Mostly because they both have perfect names I didn't want to ruin.

Also it seems some of the guests decided to watch from outside, through the windows? I've not had that happen before!

Now, prepare for a little picspam, I took so many shots of their wedding day...

Perfect couple <3

Dusty finally got the wedding day of her dreams!

Getting married is hard work, guys.

I do hope they'll add slow dancing back in some day. For now, Dusty will just have to dance to entertain her guests.

I think they had a nice wedding day. I'm pretty sure it ended on gold.

Back in the city, Dusty realises she's missed her birthday. She doesn't look super cut up over it, does she?

Another day, and another new hobby for Summer.

Despite her fame and fortune, Dusty still works in the Painter career and was out at the time.

Which is just as well, because Candy randomly dropped by.

I don't think she did anything other than use the computer.

That evening, Dusty and Summer headed out on a date night to a restaurant in Newcrest.

"...what the heck?"

"Are you sure you want to eat here?"

They did end up eating there, although maybe it was a mistake - Dusty absolutely hated her tentacles.

Another beautiful day in the Arts Quarter.

Summer didn't have a job at this point, there was no need to financially, so she just wanders the apartment doing whatever she likes.

Just your average morning, really.

I bet the view from her yoga mat is impressive.

With Dusty at work, Jo dropping by was probably the most exciting thing to happen all day.

When Dusty did return, she invited over the rest of the Culpeppers for the afternoon. Naturally, it turned into some sort of impromptu dance party.

Norah is super serious about those dance moves.

"It was so good to see you, Dusty! I'm so glad things are going well for you!"

A new day arrives, and with it, a new job for Summer.

There's no real reason, but now she's a lifeguard.

The hours aren't very long, though, so she still spends quite a bit of time waiting for Dusty to come home.

I might have Dusty quit her job next season.

Later that day, painting a masterpiece earns Dusty her third fame star!

Apparently that calls for a meet and greet!

Apparently the thought of meeting a famous artist was too much for a lot of her fans. Not really much of a meet and greet.

The pile of fans was...interesting, to say the least.

Dusty also got another fame quirk that afternoon. She now has a stan.

Dusty's stan quite often shows up at the apartment and comes right on in after this.

Love Day was kept quite simple for this couple, mainly because of work.

They don't need much, though. They exchanged flowers and kisses, and they're happy <3

Summer's lifeguard job means keeping fit, which gives Summer something to do whilst Dusty is out of the house.

The Romance Festival was on the last full day of the rotation, and after their fairly subdued Love Day, I thought it would be nice for Dusty and Summer to go together.

It sort of shows how different Dusty's life is now.

She last came to the festival, and sought the Love Guru's advice, a short while after breaking up with Candy!

What is it about this festival that makes sims put on strange hats?

"Here Dusty, feel the love!"

"...thank you!"

Gosh I think these two might be one of my all time favourite couples <3

Dusty and Summer headed home, ready to spend the last hours of spring playing video games.

"Don't think I'll let you win just because we're married!"

And so ends a busy and life changing spring for them! Who knows what will happen for them in the summer?

See you next time for the Bell family!
