Hello! It's time for some more Name Game fun!

Last time, we met founder Alice Hatter, a squeamish, book-loving vegetarian. We watched her struggle to find her dream job, until she decided comedy was the way to go. She also went out to a few dance parties, one of which sucked, and met J Huntington III. Turns out she quite liked him, and asked him to move in. And then we discovered he was a non-committal dudebro.

Well. That's a totally normal place to start a chapter, right?

Who knows, maybe we'll end up with the first baby of the generation.

We'll have to wait for the pregnancy test, Alice is straight out of bed and off to work.

That leaves J home alone to celebrate his new romance.

"This is sweet! Got a place to stay, and a girlfriend! I wonder how long this one will hold my interest..."

Well, here's the thing, J, this is a challenge family. When I'm playing normally I tend to go with what my sims want, but when I'm playing challenges...

Or, at very least, until the kids are born.

I've never had a non-committal sim before, I'm actually kind of looking forward to playing J.

J also pouts a lot.

It's like he knows we're watching him. Or he's practising for a modelling career. He's also playing video games for his job in the Tech Guru career, lucky guy.

Alice comes home later that night, with a promotion, but totally exhausted.

Despite her tiredness, she's still over the moon when the pregnancy test is positive.

J is obviously thrilled.

"I've been living here 12 hours, how are you already pregnant?"

Tense from a lack of exercise - and not because his new girlfriend is about to tie him down with a kid (or five) - J heads out for a jog.

And he takes his dinner with him? Got to replace those calories as he burns them, I guess.

The fireflies are absolutely gorgeous <3

While J's out, Alice helps herself to some leftovers for dinner.

Unfortunately she found the fruit cake. That's the face I'd pull if I had to eat fruit cake for dinner.

"Great job fixing the toilet, babe!"

The following day, Alice is invited to the flea market by a sim she met in the last chapter. Probably at one of the dance parties.

J's not working so he gets to tag along. It's such a nice day, afterall.

It's a baking hot day, so J breaks out the aviators and the douchiest tank top he could find.

I genuinely didn't pick that for him. And it's too perfect to change.

Maybe dismount before entering the market, Alice. There's a lot of people about.

"Isn't it nice? Coming here, trying new food, buying cheap furniture..."

J neither agreed nor disagreed, because his mouth was full of fire. It was quite amusing to watch him struggling with spicy food, I must admit.

After their lunch, it was time for more bargain hunting.

These two definitely look like they're trying to talk J into buying something.

While J was being smooth-talked into parting with his cash, I happened to notice Mortimer Goth in the background, sporting a new look.

Quite honestly, it's perfect.

Alice heads to work, and J heads home for a jog in the rain.

I imagine carrying an umbrella makes jogging harder.

It's the beginning of summer, Father Winter's out a bit early, isn't he?

Alice comes home, and J's cooked dinner - he's super confident and smug about it now. I'm starting to really like J, he just amuses me.

Unfortunately, Alice had morning sickness. That's why she looks so sad, J's first meal was actually okay in terms of quality.

J went for another jog that night.

His active trait annoys me far more than his non-committal one - he constantly wants to work out! It's like having to walk your dog twice a day.

He must have pushed it a little too far on this jog though - he's fatigued and filthy!

A bubble bath later and J is ready for a cosy night in beating Alice at video games <3

The following day, Alice was invited to Geek Con by a friend. It's probably not an event I'd have her attend otherwise, but it's good to get out of the house.

J was working, so Alice gets to enjoy this one by herself.

The cosplay costumes are by far my favourite part of Geek Con.

Do you think it'd be easy to eat in a fish monster costume?

Unfortunately the con was cut short for Alice, as she somehow managed to pee herself.

At least it was in the very corner, so no one really saw.

That night, it's time for Alice and J to welcome their new baby!

It's a girl!

This is Abigail Hatter.

"J, honey, look at the baby! She's so perfect!"

"Can't right now, babe, I'm in the middle of a sports game."

I don't keep my sims as babies for long. It's a bad habit, I know, but the baby stage is just so dull.

Anyway, Abi randomised the Angelic toddler trait. I bet you now one of Alice's five kids will randomise with the Wild trait. My game really likes to give me that one.

I extend the house then and there to make room for all the new toddler stuff, but unfortunately it's raining pretty hard and there's now a muddy puddle that was outside in the house.

So what do you do with indoor mud?

Start an indoor mud fight, of course!

Alice tried to hit him and missed, so I guess that's his celebration face?

I'm really enjoying having J around :D

Breaking news, baby 2 is on the way!

It looks like Alice threw that confetti there herself.

Suprisingly, J is excited to extend the family.

The next morning J slipped right over on his way to work, and I burst out laughing. It was just so comical!

But he got up, and carried on walking to work.

And then he was struck by lightning! This is why they tell you not to carry umbrellas during a thunderstorm.

Still, rather than keeping him home and giving him a bath, I sent J to work. Looking like that. I hope he has a good day :D

Alice gets to use her family leave and stay home with Abi, teaching her some of toddler skills she needs.

I'm trying to get a head start before we have two toddlers. I really doubt any of them will max all their skills.

Would you believe this is the height of summer?

You don't see the sun much in Brindleton Bay!

Still, it's getting a little crazy being cooped up inside. I definitely thought I saw smiley faces in the yellow pepper Alice is chopping!

I hope Alice and J are prepared to find noodles in their couch cushions for the rest of time.

J is a good lad, he does he share of the housework.

Mostly because Alice's Squeamish trait means cleaning makes her uncomfortable, but even so. He steps in when necessary.

J is also pretty good at ignoring whatever life throws at him on his morning commute.

Instead of mud and lightning this morning, it was an illness, and glitching himself on the door. But he's still smiling, and that's the main thing.

Unbelievably, it's not raining, so Alice and Abi head down to the shore line for some beach fun.

My heart melts watching them, it's so cute!

I don't think she's in her third trimester yet, but Alice is really feeling this pregnancy. Just this one, and then three more. :D

Abi loves those tiny crabs as much as I do!

I think that's all the summer fun they're going to be able to have in Brindleton Bay.

The sun hid behind the clouds all day, but at least they had a little bit of fun on the beach.

J came home from work and I was super surprised by the walk by when I went to check on him.

Would you believe that's Judith Ward in that get up? I guess it's a new way of disguising herself from fans.

One last screenshot before we wrap up this chapter - the beginning of the mess making!

I get the feeling we'll be seeing a lot of this over the next few chapters! See you again soon!
