We're back with the Titans!
Last time, winter brought some big changes for the Titan family. After feeling sad for their boys struggling financially, Norah and Miko decided to downsize in order to free up some cash for Marnie's future. After one last Winterfest in their family home in Windenburg, the Titans relocated to a small apartment in the Fashion District of San Myshuno. Sadly, the apartment was too small for the family's dog, Frankie, who had to move in with David.

The news of Jo McMullen's death reached the Titans before I opened the lot to play them, sadly. Both Norah and Miko were deeply upset about the news.

Unfortunately, time waits for no one, and there was actually a celebration scheduled for that day - Marnie's birthday.

Marnie looks almost exactly like her older brothers! I don't think there's much of Norah's genes in the kids.
Marnie rolled the Active trait, so I gave her the Bodybuilder aspiration to match, as I've never done that one before. It gives Marnie the High Metabolism trait. She's also got the Gym Rat reward trait.

Marnie is the only member of the family not overwhelmed with sadness. While she did know Jo a little, I guess they weren't close enough for her death to have an impact.
Norah and Miko, however, are going to be feeling it for a few days at least.

Leaving her parents at home to grieve, Marnie heads to Uptown to check out the gym, and get a head start on that aspiration.

I love seeing other playables going about their business in the background. Marnie bumped into Casey, David's girlfriend, who seems to be chatting more than she's working out.

Marnie is completely focused and unstoppable, and somehow managed to complete the first two parts of her aspiration on the first day of being a teenager. It sounds silly, but I was surprised how much easier aspirations are for the second generation, rather than the young adult sims starting out straight from CAS.
She's pretty fatigued, but pretty accomplished too!

A quick shower at the gym, and Marnie heads out to Newcrest to spend time with the only one of her friends already a teen, Dolly Vatore.

It was a very quick catch up, however, as Dolly disappeared shortly after arriving. I guess she has other places she needs to be.

I don't think Marnie minded too much, it gave her an opportunity to get to know some of the other teens in the area.

Back in the city, Miko's making a night of it by getting abducted again.
This is, what, the third? Fourth? Time in her life. The aliens will not leave her alone. It's a good thing she's not male, or the Titan-Ojo family would be a lot larger!

The following morning and Norah is having cake for breakfast - it's time for her to become an elder.
I'm guessing her pregnancies have made her younger than the rest of the founding Culpeppers, apart from Kirby, who is immortal.

Norah makes a cute old lady!

The morning is shaping up to be a grey one. Marnie thinks it's perfect jogging weather, though.
I guess it's probably better than jogging in a heatwave, right? She wanted to jog before school, Marnie is probably insane.

Miko came home from work later that day and immediately started flirting with Norah. Getting older hasn't changed a thing for these two! <3

Marnie came home from school with a friend - Kaori Nishidake - who she met at the teenage hangout the other night when Dolly Vatore went home early.

Unfortunately for Marnie and Kaori, the Titan's apartment is very small, and there is absolutely no room for privacy.

Not that that stops Marnie's flirting anyway. Pretty sure Norah is just there to celebrate how smooth her daughter is with the ladies.

Marnie was even able to sneak a first kiss when her parents were looking the other way.
But eventually the lack of privacy did take its toll, and Marnie headed out to the park with Kaori.

I think they're pretty cute together, even if Kaori didn't really make much of an impression on me. The only reason I remember her name is because I wrote it down.

Wrong season, Kaori, but I'm sure Marnie appreciates it anyway.
The pair headed their separate ways for the night after their mistletoe kiss.

Well, what else do you do after a date?

Okay, you have a choice for breakfast today: you can have sports or...

...you can have cake!
I know what I'd pick :D

Miko makes such a cute old lady!
I really can't believe we're here already, with my original sims all getting old. And passing away, in Jo's case. I still can't quite believe she's gone.

The rest of the day passes uneventfully - at this point Norah and Miko were both still working and Marnie was at school.

Norah and Miko decided to spend the evening playing video games, and Marnie? Well, Marnie is heading out...

Well, any 'normal' teenager would probably be off to visit their partner. Marnie, however, is out in the snow for other reasons...

Good luck, kid. Try and stay upright.

Marnie's first adventure on the slopes didn't go super well, but I get the feeling this isn't her last visit to the slopes.

Another day in the Fashion District, and we're spending it with Miko. I think this was around the time I had her Norah retire, but I'm not sure.
Anyway, Miko spends the morning browsing the net...

...and the afternoon napping!
To be honest, sounds like a great day, right?

I spent the evening down the gym with Marnie. So overall, a very uneventful day.

I think at this point the days were beginning to fly by, and I think that's because I pretty much devoted all of my attention to Marnie's aspiration.

Once I have a goal in the sims I just kind of focus on it, which is how I end up taking like 4 screenshots to represent 24 hours. My bad.
It was going so well, though! I'm pretty sure Marnie's on the last part of the aspiration, and that shouldn't take me too long next rotation. I think.
Aspirations are so much easier with second generation sims??

Friday was Love Day, and I finally tore my attention away from Marnie and her fitness to mission to send Norah and Miko out on a date.

Can you believe this is Norah and Miko's third Love Day together? And Norah has learned her lesson from that first one - never buy Miko tulips!

They're definitely one of my all time favourite couples <3

Norah and Miko aren't the only ones with a date - after school, Marnie heads out to the Festival of Light to meet Kaori. They weren't officially girlfriends, but they'd shared a few flirts and kisses - maybe Love Day would be the day they would make it official!

Well, don't be fooled by Kaori's smile, she absolutely hated that rose Marnie got for her. She hated it so much the pair of them got a negative sentiment.

So the gift fell flat and Marnie's sad about it. Perfect start to a date.

Marnie was so sad she couldn't even really enjoy the festival, which was a huge bummer because this was the first time I'd ever sent sims to the Festival of Light.

It was then and there that Marnie decided that she and Kaori would be better off as friends.
So much for Love Day!

Being single again seemed to perk Marnie up though, so maybe Kaori just wasn't right for her.

Marnie spent the last day of the rotation down the gym.
Getting over Kaori? Focusing on her goals? You decide. Maybe it's both.

I'm pretty sure she got a Lifestyle from all this activity, but I'll have to check when I open the game as I can't actually remember.

And that's where spring ended for the family! A rather productive season, don't you think?

They're such a cute little family <3
Anyway! See you next time, when we'll be visiting David Titan-Ojo!
