We're in Britechester, with Max Vatore and Taeko Kibo-Bell!
And they're both on probation because I made an oopsie setting them up last season. So it's already going really well.
Max is doing a distinguished degree in History, he's taking 4 classes this term, and Taeko is doing Fine Art, and taking 3 classes.

I've not actually played Britechester yet - sims in other saves I've played have gone to Foxbury.
So new surroundings should be interesting, right?

Kirby also kept dropping by this rotation, probably just checking up on her son.

I can't remember the name of the student house I picked for these two, but they've got two roommates and absolutely no space.
There's room for one presentation board, not two - not comfortably anyway. I'm already thinking I might have these guys live off-campus next season.

Good morning, sunshine!
She's tense from all the roommates - Taeko has the loner trait. Just another reason to consider living off-campus next time.

Classes start today, and so the grind begins - I swear this boy is never not doing homework.

There isn't much I can say about those first few days of term. They both went to class, went home, ate and slept. I don't think they even really spoke to each other much.
And I'm going to be honest with you, I was bored. And I know it's partially my own fault, because I loaded these guys up with classes, but if I hadn't done that they'd take forever and a day to graduate.

I'm actually thinking of downloading a mod that cuts down the number of classes needed to graduate, because university isn't tons of fun to play for me at the moment.
Anyway, it's time for a fun event that did take place during this season:

We're in the park in Oasis Springs! Which was something I downloaded from the gallery, but then tweaked, expanded and rearranged to fit my own needs.
But why are Max and Taeko here? Well...

They're getting married!
I was planning to wait, for them to have a long engagement, but I actually realised that Adora is probably going to pass away in the summer, and I really wanted her to be at Taeko's wedding.
So the couple are tying the knot today!

I planned this whole thing so you could attend, Adora, but sure, go paint in the corner and ignore the ceremony.

Several people did actually make it to the ceremony, which surprised me.

Mr and Mrs Vatore, everybody!

It's really fun having a family for both the bride and the groom? Posing these is a bit finnicky but I do enjoy doing it.
Oh, and the only reason Dolly wasn't there is because the sun is still up.

"Isn't this how you pictured your wedding? Surrounded by the noise of children playing?"

I figured that given they were uni students when they got married, their wedding would fairly cheap and low-key.
But I also really liked this location for them, and all the park activities meant for some interesting wedding reception pictures:

Like the bride and groom going swimming immediately after the ceremony & posed photos

The parents, finding a corner to chat in.

Akira was invited, he's Taeko's actual father, but he didn't seem to interact with many people while he was there.

There's always someone sleeping on a bench at these things.

Also Taeko got a phone call from their roommate about being locked out?
Um, no, buddy. You can wait til the wedding ends.

And the wedding reception ended in homework, obviously.
It was a pretty good time, all the same :)

Well, how else do you spend your wedding night?

I quite like the world of Britechester, it's a shame I don't spend more time here, really.

"Taeko, honey, why did you cycle straight into the house?"
Once the wedding was over and they were back on the university grind, I took less pictures.

They did eventually find time to squeeze in their first woohoo as a married couple.

Saturday arrives, and there's no classes, so the couple spend the day together doing fun stuff.
Not quite a honeymoon, but even so.

They didn't like the onsen much, they kept getting out, so I guess they'd rather play in the snow.

I think they had a good time together <3

Sunday morning arrives, and the couple are having books for breakfast.
I must have enrolled them on a weird day, because for some reason, term is ending on a Monday.

I also had them check out that event that's happening in the game at the moment, but they didn't stay very long.

The last day of term! Finally!

I have no idea how Taeko got an F for that one class, but there you go.

Max's grades are way higher, but I was still disappointed that his GPA was so low.
Probably because he was on probation when I arrived at the beginning of the season.

Anyway! That was spring with the - now married! - university students. I'm going to come up with a different way of doing things next time round, because I played most of this on speed 3.
I'm thinking the mod to reduce the number of classes needed to graduate will help, because then they can take less classes each term and that'll give me more time for fun and stuff. I don't know, we'll see.
Well! That's it for Spring 3, see you next time for the Summer!!
