Culpepper Pals: Spring 3: Summary

beanstalk_simsSpring 3 brought plenty of changes for the Culpepper gang – the new year often does! Some fun stats for you this week:
Weddings: 3
Births: 2
Deaths: 1
Yup, the Culpeppers lost their first ever member – Jo McMullen. Honestly I’m still surprised she didn’t hold out until the summer, and I’m still a bit gutted that she’s gone. Next season is going to be much harder, as at least two elders are due to pass away.
There were three weddings this season – there was the much anticipated wedding of Oli Titan-Ojo and Cassandra Goth, who were married in early spring at the chapel in Newcrest. This was attended by both of their families. There was also the surprise elopement of Jo McMullen and Mackenzie Yee whilst on vacation in Sulani, who were married with no guests present other than their cats. At the end of the season, Max Vatore and Taeko Kibo-Bell decided to tie the knot in the park round the corner from Taeko's childhood home, with both of their families present.
Finally, the Culpeppers gained some little ones this week! Daniel “Danny” Goth was born to Oli and Cass mid spring, and although they had planned on only have one child together, fate may have other plans (thanks, aliens). Morgyn and Elsie Ember also welcomed their second child, a son named Tarin Ember.
McMullen
Jo and Mackenzie began the year with some surprise kittens! However, caring for four cats became too much for the couple, and the little ones found new homes with other families in the save. Both Jo and Mackenzie retired last season, so they decided to head out to Sulani for some much needed relaxation and alone time. Whilst there, the couple unexpectedly got engaged and tied the knot, with no guests present other than their cats. Despite Jo’s history of being a party animal, this just felt right for the couple. They did celebrate their nuptials upon returning to the city, with plenty of their friends present. Jo unfortunately passed away of old age on the final day of spring.
Mackenzie McMullen now lives alone with the two cats, still at 18 Culpepper House, San Myshuno.
Titan
The family had a subdued start to the season, after hearing the news of Jo’s passing. Unfortunately, time waits for no one, and Marnie’s birthday happened to fall on the same day. Marnie became a teenager, choosing to dedicate herself to a life of fitness and sports. Both Norah and Miko became elders this season, and retired. Marnie began a new relationship with Kaori Nishidake, only for it to fall apart on Love Day, leaving Marnie a little stung.
The family still lives at 1310 21 Chic Street, San Myshuno.
Titan-Ojo
David had a productive season, working on his aspiration and expanding his home in Sulani. He threw a few parties, inviting his family to his place for the first time, as well as a number of friends. He also asked girlfriend Casey Hatter to move in with him. Bunny Day celebrations were kept small, to just David’s immediate family, but this unfortunately meant they were all present for the death of the family dog, Frankie. A few days later, after recovering from Frankie’s passing, David and Casey decided to expand their little family with a new dog – Lulu.

Goth
A lot of things changed for Oli and Cassandra this season! They began spring by tying the knot at the chapel in Newcrest, surrounded by their family. The following morning they discovered Cass was pregnant – she was a little hesitant about it, Oli was thrilled. After a couple of days at work, the couple agreed their apartment was too small to raise a family and took out a loan to build a new house in Newcrest. Daniel Goth was born towards the end of the season, and promptly nicknamed Danny by his Uncle David. Oli was also abducted by aliens twice, meaning the family might grow a little come the summer…
Oli, Cass and Danny now live at Hillside Highlands, Newcrest.
Brows
The Brows family began the new year with a new kitten (Bruno) and a birthday – Tori became a teenager. Spring was mostly a quiet season for the family, spent hanging out with friends and family. Dusty took Summer on a couple of dates, and the whole family spent the weekend at the beach together.
The family still lives in the Fountainview Penthouse, San Myshuno.
Bell
It seems the Bells are never going to have a quiet season! This spring they gained a new pet – Butters the dog – and a new teenager, when Tania celebrated her birthday. Tania was thrilled to be the same age as her friends again, ditching school to meet with them in a bar. She also made friends with Johnny Zest. Later on in the week it was discovered that Travis had a child from a relationship prior to Adora that he knew nothing about – and he decided he wanted to raise the daughter with his current family. Brianna Caliente joined the Bells, which unsettled things for a few days before becoming a bit more normal. Towards the end of the season, Cookie the raccoon unfortunately passed away.
The family, with their new member, still lives at Nookstone, Oasis Springs.
Vatore
The Vatores made the most of the spring weather by heading outside more – they extended the garden, and gained some new pets in the form of bees and bugs. Dolly began another relationship, with Jeb Harris this time – somehow her boyfriends still don’t know about one another. Dolly also continued to drink from other sims, which greatly upset her parents. It was eventually decided that Dolly would leave the house after her birthday, so she could live as she feels is appropriate, and not upset her mother by breaking the rules all the time.
Kirby and Caleb now live alone with their dog, Bella, at the Old Salt House in San Myshuno. Dolly has moved into an apartment, and now lives at 1313 21 Chic Street.
Ember
Spring brought a couple of new members to the Ember family! The first was new kitten, Geppetto, followed by a pregnancy announcement – baby number two was on the way! There was also family time, duelling, a hike and some gardening. Caroline was presented with her first familiar, a phoenix, became friends with Brianna Caliente, and is now close to completing her aspiration. Later on in spring, Elsie and Morgyn welcomed a little boy to their family – Tarin Ember – and immediately organised a playdate with the Goths. A very productive season for the family!
The Embers still live at the Brooks Bridge Borough, Glimmerbrook.
University
Max Vatore and Taeko Kibo-Bell began their degrees this season, and completely dedicated themselves to their studies. There was very little time for partying or shenanigans, but the couple did manage to find the time to arrange a wedding and tie the knot. Mr and Mrs Vatore then went straight back to studying, but were able to spend some time together as a couple at the weekend.
