Last time, the family had a subdued start to the season, after hearing the news of Jo’s passing. Unfortunately, time waits for no one, and Marnie’s birthday happened to fall on the same day. Marnie became a teenager, choosing to dedicate herself to a life of fitness and sports. Both Norah and Miko became elders this season, and retired. Marnie began a new relationship with Kaori Nishidake, only for it to fall apart on Love Day, leaving Marnie a little stung.

We rejoin the Titans to find Norah feeling sad over the passing of Mackenzie :(

Marnie, however, is feeling pretty great. She immediately went out for a jog when I unpaused the game, crazy little kid.
She's already pretty close to completing her aspiration.

While Marnie jogs around, I check out the neighbourhood. I haven't had many sims live in this part of the city before, and I swear I see something new every time.

Not content with just a jog, Marnie breaks out the football the moment she stops running.

And this is all before breakfast.
Pretty sure Marnie has the Energetic lifestyle now, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't write it down - but I very rarely write lifestyles down for some reason.

Marnie heads to the gym the moment breakfast is done, and gets coaching from that lady.
I can't remember her name, but apparently she and Marnie became good friends at some point while I was away.

It's fun seeing who else turns up at the gym in the background - apparently the Vatore men are gym buddies.

David also turned up, but didn't actually work out - I guess he didn't want to be shown up by his younger sister. Marnie is much fitter than he is, even though he swims on a daily basis!

Kaori, Marnie's ex, also shows up, wearing only a towel. I did wonder if Kaori would try to speak to Marnie but nothing really happened.
Perhaps Marnie is just too focused on her goal to chat right now.

Which worked out really well because Marnie has completed her aspiration! I can't believe I managed that while she was still a teen!!
She gained the Long Lived trait. So what's Marnie's next aspiration?

Naturally, I had to give her the Extreme Sports Enthusiast one!
I'm very glad they've added another athletic aspiration, as I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with Marnie post-aspiration. This one should be fun to try out properly - I haven't played it before!

She did bring the entire family to the slopes, but it looks like they'd much rather hang out in the onsen.
And who can blame them, really?

I'm very excited for Marnie's next adventure, but at the moment she still has things like school and homework to worry about.

Monday morning, and Marnie is off to school while her parents stay home and playing racing games together.
Retirement is going well for them.

Dolly also dropped by, as she lives just down the hall from these guys now.

After school, Marnie received a call from Luna Villareal asking her to hang out in Windenburg, so I said yes. I have no idea when the two of them became friends.
Luna didn't seem too happy about it when Marnie turned up, either.

Marnie was able to cheer her up though.

This place is so pretty, why don't I send more of my sims here??

I think she quite likes Luna...!

The ghost applauding their first kiss really cracked me up!
"You go girl!"

All in all, a very successful afternoon, wouldn't you say?
And gosh, Windenburg is pretty in the summer. You know, when it's not chucking it down.

Marnie was home for maybe 30 seconds before Luna invited her out again. This girl is keen!
This time they went to Oasis Springs.

Once inside, Marnie and Luna officially became girlfriends!
This all took me by surprise - even though I'm the one controlling the sims, Marnie definitely chose Luna for herself. I'd kind of forgotten Luna Villareal even existed before Marnie noticed her, to be honest.

What a romantic location to start a new relationship!
They did both head home after this, Marnie was pretty tired.

Morning arrived and Marnie went off the school - while Norah and Miko made some changes...

The family has moved to Mount Komorebi! They now live at 6-4-1 Hanamigawa.
I was planning to wait until Marnie actually hit adulthood later on in the season, as I wanted her to move to Mount Komorebi to be closer to the slopes and I've never had a sim live here...but I also was too excited to wait. So the Titans moved a few days early.

Norah and Miko also finally replaced their futon bed that has been giving them bad back moodlets since autumn 1! Better late than never, right?
Although I'm not sure this bed is actually much better.

Norah and Miko then spent the afternoon getting to know some of their new neighbours, who generously brought over some fruit cake.
Nobody tell them the fruit cake was chucked away as soon as they left. No one here likes it.

This world is so pretty, I'm very glad I decided to move them.
So how does Marnie feel about her family moving for the sake of her future?

Miserable, apparently.
I don't think it's related, she's just having a mood swing.

She goes for a jog round her new neighbourhood to clear her mind. She'll be fine in a second.

Which is great because the entire Titan-Ojo family is coming over for a house warming! Plus Tori and Tania, because just showed up at the same time. Oh and Luna was there somewhere, too.
I love that these guys have a massive family <3

Oli and Cass also have Danny with them, which makes Norah happy - she loves her grandson!

I forgot Cassandra was a Kleptomaniac (I randomised her YA trait when I grew her up for Oli), she stole one of Marnie's posters! I'll have to keep an eye on her at other gatherings to see if she steals anything else!

I love them <3

You guys aren't going to stop your toddler? You're just going to let him wreck the place?

Okay, you guys might be overstaying your welcome a little now.

"Oli...don't take this the wrong way, but have you been here all night?"
"Nah, I went home and came back."
This is true! Both Oli and David have keys to the place, so Oli went home for maybe three hours before coming back again. He left again shortly after having cake for breakfast.

While Marnie was at school, I sent Norah and Miko out for a hike, just because there happens to be some in the neighbourhood.

And Norah made a wish on these spirits, which was cool - I've never seen them in my own game before!

I sent Marnie out for a hike after school, but that was for her aspiration.

Likewise, her after school trip to the slopes.

I'm having a great time with this, if it wasn't obvious.

It's Marnie's last day as a teenager, which apparently means she's going to wear school uniform for the first time ever.

Norah and Miko enjoyed a quiet day at home.
I think at this point I was worried about losing Miko, as I'd had the pop up about her life coming to an end, but she held on for the whole of summer.

Time for Marnie to have her birthday cake.
I probably say this every time one of the kids grows into adulthood, but I can't believe we're here already!

Marnie's not leaving home so I'll give a recap of all her traits, as well as her new ones:
Marnie Titan-Ojo
Extreme Sports Enthusiast - High Metabolism
Mean - Active - Ambitious
Happy Toddler - Physically Gifted - Gym Rat - Long-Lived - Responsible - Emotional Control

Luna Villareal also had a birthday and moved in - I couldn't separate her and Marnie, not after Marnie basically chose Luna herself.
Luna Villareal
Friend of the World - Gregarious
Childish - Romantic - Ambitious

Miko, really?
I swear, it's not a season with the Titans until the aliens abduct Miko.

Not one of them noticed Miko being abducted. That's how normal it is in this household.

Luna decorated their bedroom, can you tell?

Friday morning is a little gloomy, but Marnie and Luna decide to spend the morning on a hike together anyway.
At this point, Marnie is unemployed, but Luna has taken a job as a Style Influencer. She just hasn't started work yet.

Luna often looks excited, and I think it's adorable!

I know they've been dating less than a week, and that they've been young adults for less than a day, but it just felt right for them to get engaged, you know?
They won't be getting married this season, but when they do Marnie will be taking Luna's surname.

They're just so sweet together <3

Well, how else do you celebrate your new engagement?

Marnie and Luna did spend the evening together though, at the Festival of Light.
I think it's neat that the last time Marnie was at this festival she split up with her girlfriend, and now she's here a season later with her wife-to-be <3

They both had a pretty good evening :)

Saturday, the last day of the rotation, was fairly low-key.
Marnie spent the morning snowboarding.

But she kept falling down, so she went home and went jogging instead.
Marnie cannot sit still for long, it's simply impossible.

Norah and Miko also spent the day chilling out - I think Miko is due to pass away in early autumn and I'm not looking forward to it at all.
And that's where the season ended for the Titans!

Lots of changes for the little family this season - I'm really looking forward to seeing what Marnie gets up to next season, despite knowing we're going to lose Miko.
Anyway, there's plenty more summer to get through first! See you next time for David's summer!
