Culpepper Pals: Winter 3 Summary

beanstalk_simsWinter is over for the Culpepper Pals – and I’m happy about it! It’s not that I hate the season or anything, but I do like the seasons where my sims can go out and about a bit more. Plus after eleven households or so, you’re kind of sick of the snow.
Anyway!
Births: 3
Deaths: 2
Weddings: 1
I honestly thought this would be a season without any births! Instead, we had three – first up, Haley Goth who was born to Oli and Cass Goth on Winterfest morning. And then Tania and Johnny Zest discovered they’d accidentally conceived, resulting in their daughter Rebecca. Finally, Dolly and Diego Lobo added a baby girl to their new home, named Zelda Lobo.
There were a couple of deaths this season, beginning with the loss of Norah Titan on New Year’s Eve. The last of the founders to go, I will truly miss having Norah around <3 She leaves behind her massive family of three children and six grandchildren. Shari Kibo also passed away this week, in an accident involving her new murphy bed. She left behind two dogs and a cat, who were all rehomed with her sisters and their families.
There was also a wedding this week, which took everyone by surprise, myself included – David Titan-Ojo and Casey Hatter decided to tie the knot. The ceremony was held at their home in Sulani, which is the perfect backdrop for any wedding!
Q
Jared Q
Winter 3 was Jared’s first season as a Culpepper Pal, and boy was he in for a treat! After accidentally insulting werewolves at what he thought was a new, hipster location to drink, they decided to teach Jared a lesson and inflict him with the werewolf curse. Jared spent most of the week coming to grips with his new powers and instincts, frequently flying into rages and smashing up his home. Pack leader Rory Oaklow initially took Jared under her wing, but the pair ended up fighting one night when Jared was rampaging. Their friendship is somewhat cooler now. Jared also made some friends this week, and began a romance with Alice Martin, who appeared to be able to look past his new lifestate.
Jared Q lives at 17 Culpepper House in San Myshuno.
Villareal
Marnie, Joslyn and Luna Villareal
Winter got off to an unusual start for the Villareals, with Marnie heading out on an expedition to the top of Mt Komorebi. Despite the less than optimal conditions, and terrifying heights, Marnie and her squad made it to the summit. Once back home, life settled down a little – Luna continued to work at her job in fashion, Marnie went for several hikes, and they celebrated Joslyn’s birthday. Winterfest passed with the usual piles of presents and a massive family gathering. Joslyn was introduced to skiing, and the entire family made wishes at the festival of light. The season ended on a sad note, however, as Norah passed away a few hours before midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The Villareals still live at 6-4-1 Hanamigawa in Mt Komorebi.
Titan-Ojo
Riley, Casey, David and Samantha Titan-Ojo
Due to the recent loss of David’s mother, Norah, winter got off to a subdued start for the Titan-Ojos. Despite the timing, David and Casey decided to tie the knot with a fairly large ceremony, bringing together the family – how Norah would have wanted it. The ceremony was held at the family home as there was plenty of space, and was a good time all round. The rest of the season passed fairly uneventfully, with friends and family dropping by frequently when the Titan-Ojos weren’t at work or school.
The family still lives at Key Point in Sulani.
Goth
Haley, Cass, Ana, Oli and Ella Goth
It was business as usual for the Goths at the beginning of the season – the kids hung out with their friends, Cass worked on her writing and the family were working on their aspirations. And then it was time for a birthday! After becoming a teen, Oli and Cass’s eldest child announced they identified as female and changed her name to Ella. Cassandra found out she was pregnant again the same morning. The pregnancy passed rather uneventfully, and the couple welcomed another daughter on Winterfest morning – Haley Goth. Winterfest also began with the loss of the family’s cat, Rosie. After Winterfest, Ella started at a new high school, and ended up with a crush on new classmate Sidney. The two of them went to prom together, but it seems their relationship is a platonic one.
The family still lives at Hillside Highlands in Newcrest.
Holiday
Thorne Bailey, Orange Bailey-Moon, Tori Holiday & Summer Holiday
Winter began with Thorne and Tori attending the Starlight Accolades together for the first time. Thorne’s divorce and new relationship are a hot topic amongst the valley’s elite, and favour seems to sit with Thorne’s ex-wife, Octavia. Despite this, the paparazzi were very keen to snap glimpses of the life Thorne and Tori have built together. The couple were able to snag some alone time despite the spotlight being on them. Tori also landed a couple of decent roles this season, and gained her third fame star. Meanwhile, Orange became best friends with Bonnie Vatore.
The family still reside in the (now renamed) Bailey-Holiday Manor in Del Sol Valley.
Bell
Brianna Caliente & Travis Bell
Brianna began winter by joining the cheerleading squad, and breaking up with her girlfriend, Caroline Ember. The pair agreed they were probably better off as friends. Newly single, Bri developed a crush on a girl named Cathy, and romance blossomed between them very quickly. Bri’s best friend also changed multiple times this season! Brianna broke up with new girlfriend Cathy on Winterfest, before spending the day with her family. She was able to complete her teen aspiration, and cheer with Caroline at a sports event before her birthday at the end of the week. After becoming a YA, Bri decided to relocate to the city and start working in interior design.
Brianna and her father now live 920 Medina Studios in San Myshuno. They’ll be the Caliente household from next season onwards.
Kibo
Shari Kibo
Winter was Shari’s first season living alone, in her new house out in Brindleton Bay. With her vet clinic now sold and no new job on the horizon just yet, Shari opted to look for a roommate to help pay for her home, cat Mateo and dogs Butters and Spatula. Shari even gave up her bed for new roommate Minoru, choosing to sleep on the murphy bed in the living room. Unfortunately, there was an accident involving Shari’s new murphy bed and she passed away.
Her cat Mateo has moved in with Brianna Caliente, Butters has moved in with the Vatores as they lost their dog Bella last season, and Spatula moved in with Shari’s younger step-sister, Tania.
Zest
Tania, Becky & Johnny Zest
Whilst she and her family were still reeling from the loss of Shari, Tania discovered she was pregnant. The timing wasn’t ideal, as the couple are fairly low on funds but the two of them felt they’d find a way to manage. They both worked very hard to up their household funds, while simultaneously tidying up from their new mischievous family member, Spatula the dog. Tania and Johnny had a baby girl, who they named Rebecca, or Becky for short. Becky became a fussy toddler, running her parents ragged as they continued working hard to make ends meet. As a result, Tania and Johnny agreed they don't want anymore children.
The Zests still live at Slipshod Mesquite in Oasis Springs.
Vatore
Caleb, Taeko, Bonnie, Max & Kirby Vatore
The Vatores began the winter with two new additions to the family – Butters the dog and Clover the cow – as well as Caleb’s new animal friend, Vlad the bunny. Otherwise it was business as usual for the family – Max and Taeko went to work, Kirby painted several landscapes, and Caleb did farm work. Taeko became an adult this season, and opted to mark the occasion with a haircut. Bonnie caught fire but was extinguished before any real damage occurred. Winterfest was busy, but uneventful for the family, marked by the usual family gathering. Bonnie completed her aspiration, Max solved a crime and Caleb’s milk failed to place at the Finchwick Fair. A busy, but rather quiet winter for the family generally!
The family still lives at 2 Olde Mill Lane in Henford-on-Bagley.
Lobo
Diego, Zelda and Dolly Lobo
Winter brought about a few changes for the family. Unnerved by her sudden lack of vampire power, Dolly fled to Forgotten Hollow and befriended Vladislaus Straud. After some training and sparring, Dolly found that she wasn’t a weak vampire, but still felt slightly out of touch with herself. Following a heart-to-heart with father, Caleb, Dolly felt that she wanted to move to the Hollow in order to honour the part of her that is a vampire. Husband Diego agreed to relocate, relieved when Dolly returned home safely, but found their new house to be much humbler than what he is used to. Dolly’s dedication to her supernatural state inspired Diego to work on his skills as a spellcaster. Shortly after their move, Dolly found she was expecting. After an uneventful pregnancy, Dolly gave birth to a daughter, who was named Zelda. Zelda was born a spellcaster, taking after her father, which was a mild disappointment to Dolly.
The three of them now live at Widowshild Townhouse in Forgotten Hollow.
Ember
Alice, Tarin, Elsie & Morgyn Ember
Caroline Ember
After moving house at the beginning of winter, family life continued as normal for the Ember family. There was a family holiday to Granite Falls for Winterfest, and all three children had a birthday this season - Tarin became a teen, Caroline a YA and Alice a child. Tarin gained a crush on best friend Ella Goth, and managed to score a first kiss with her on his first day as a teen. He later asked her to be his girlfriend and prom date. Meanwhile Caroline took a job as a Civil Designer, and showed an interest in getting to know Grace Anansi romantically. Caroline moved out to Evergreen Harbour at the end of the season.
The Embers now live at Glimmerbrook Watch in Glimmerbrook, but Caroline has moved to the Shipping Views in Evergreen Harbour.
