I've been so busy over the past few weeks that I feel like I've been neglecting the simming community a little - there's a growing list of things I owe comments on, and it's never fun playing catch-up. I took a brief break from actually playing my game as well, because I've been so busy - I'm moving to uni in three weeks, so naturally, I have a lot of things to sort out.

But! There is a but! I got back into playing Wrongway and I've been having a great time hanging out with all of my favourite families again. :) I've started shooting the next chapter, but I don't know how long that will take.

Anyway! Picspam!

I've been slowly taking pictures of the families in the 'hood, but I'm not close to being done - I've only done Rose's family out of the first circle houses. As much as I love my spares, I struggle bringing in the cousins. Little Zeke here hasn't made it into a single chapter yet, while Ophelia Hollinter, his cousin, was only briefly mentioned.

It's so difficult, balancing out what's going on with the main line and what's going on with the spares. Of course, then you get the problem when there's nothing really going on with the spares.

Like Will here. I want to find him somebody to love, but I'm having quite a hard time with it. So he lives by himself with his parents at the minute, showing up in the background of shots occasionally. It's a shame, because he was one of my favourites in generation four.

Then you get the spares who are so spare they are too distant to be involved in the story in any way. Owen Thompson here never played a large role when he was a cousin - mostly because the Thompson line is pretty dull.

Owen married the greek house placeholder, Shenene, which I possibly mentioned once in a chapter. They have a son, Toby. He's just a background face, really. Which is a shame, because he actually *is* fun.

The Wheeler family is another one that doesn't get much focus. I need to bring Elizabeth into it again soon, just to tie up the end of her zombieness - she's going to die first out of her generation because I messed up during the rebuild and rotations. Which isn't fun, but it's going to happen. I don't want to let go of generation three.

Meadow, Elizabeth and Knut's adopted daughter, married Henry, Kendra and Hex's son. So this line of the family should probably get more attention than they do, because of Hex's son but...I can't think of a way to tie them all in. Another problem with the huge family trees.

Though Henry and Meadow have the most adorable little girl - Gold Wheeler.

Other things obviously happen in the 'hood. Hex likes to juggle when I'm shooting a scene with Lee and Hex isn't involved at all. Not that I'm complaining - it's quite amusing.

Speaking of Lee, and his twin, Aphrodite, they have a habit of pulling dramatic-looking faces during scenes, whenever I get them both together. I'm not sure why, maybe Aphrodite likes reminding me that she doesn't get a lot of attention now. She does get played properly, though - I sent her to Three Lakes, where she met Gary.

Lee and Hex don't get played. Seeing as they're both living on elixir at the moment, I don't want them aging, so the pair of them sit in their lot and wait until I need to shoot a scene with them. Luckily, they've been in quite a few of the chapters this generation, so they're not completely ignored.

Gary got quite a makeover - when Aphrodite first started heart-farting him, he was balding and wearing socks with sandals. He scrubs up quite nicely, if I do say so myself. Again, I'd give these two more focus but...not enough chapter space for them.

It's nice to see Aphrodite happy, though. :)

Elsewhere in Mirage, I've been shooting with these four. Did I mention I love them? I like using premades (though I'm glad only one person pointed out that Gabriella and Sharla were bullying Aphrodite when she went to the park as a child). I've had a lot of fun with these four together - thinking about how they're all different to each other, yet somehow still quite similar.

It's also nice to have someone in the main line with best friends that aren't cousins. Mostly because Maddie is much older than her cousins, but because I've always played legacy kids to stay with the people they're related to. It's kind of weird - I'm not even close to my cousins.

Back on the subject of premades, I mentioned a while ago that I was planning to marry Maddie to a premade. I can't wait to introduce him! I've already started shooting bits and pieces with them together. Maybe I'll show you one of the pictures sometime soon - but I don't want to spoil who it is! xD

So that's my game lately. A bunch of wishing that certain sims were able to have their stories linked in with the main storyline I've got going on, while being extremely busy with real life.
