The Distractions Got Me
Apr. 18th, 2010 09:11 amAfter uploading a chapter that was exhausting to write - all 86 slides of it, the longest so far - I decided I needed to just play before I went onto the next chapter. I mean, I love the Wrongways, but if I play them constantly, I'm going to burn out and drop them.
So I took a break. Because I love the Wrongways, and I want to make sure I don't get sick of them.
Instead I started a side project. An Officially Wacky Boolprop Challenge. It seemed like a lot of fun when I read through the rules over at BoolProp, so I thought I'd give it a go. I might write it up and share, I don't know yet.
So I'm going to share a picture or two of the Loon family.

This is my founder. She's really fun to play, plus she's got a load of unusual genetics. I made her face by starting with the elf face and adding bits in. I couldn't find a nose I liked, so I made that myself. It'll be interesting to see if the kids get it.
And, yes, I married her to Goopy. I'll admit that I don't see what's wrong with Goopy, but I gave him stubble and a new haircut so he looks more manly. No plaid in the family he's joining.
I don't have pictures of Goopy or their daughter Bella on my laptop, so I'll have to blog about them some other time. Right, I'll just share what bonuses I'm doing, and then I'm off.
Nightlife Bonus - Every Heir is Grilled Cheese, every heir must go through one full date via Matchmaker, create a vampire
Seasons Bonus - Throw a party every season, earn a wishing well, create a plantsim
Apartment Life Bonus - One spare must be moved into an apartment and played alongside the main family, Mysterious bookcase in the family home, one sim to become a witch
Mini Challenges:
-Boolprop naming scheme, BOOLPROPC
-Quad Pod
-Family Scrapbook
-Bad Apple
