Sims 3: Vampires and Stuff

beanstalk_simsSo I've been playing Sims 3 lately, just to see if I'm interested. It's incredibly easy to play, though it lags a lot and I don't see myself switching to it permanently, but still. I had fun.
I messed about with some of the premades in a town called Bridgeport, and had so much fun I thought it was worth sharing:
So this guy. Beau Merrick. I was messing about in Bridgeport shortly after getting Late Night through the post, and I saw he was a vampire - I knew they were all shiny and stuff, so I was kind of intrigued, though a little disappointed that they could be out in the day. I later found out that if a vamp is out in the day it's a bad thing, and Beau was just being stupid when I wasn't controlling him.
That's when his admirers showed up. I still don't know any of their names. I've given them nicknames, but I don't remember any of their actual names.
This one is "Normal Girl", because she's the most normal out of the three girls. I get the impression that she dyes her hair that colour - I mean, her roots are showing. So I decided she's not a natural blonde.
"I hate this part of Bridgeport with a passion. Gross."
This one is "Barbie", simply because she reminds me of the barbie dolls I had as a kid. Must be the pink, and the little skirt and hat.
Then there was "Patchwork". Named after her awful clothes. I have no idea what EA were doing, but she's a walking clothes disaster. She is also much cooler than Normal Girl and Barbie.
Naturally, when I first took a look in the lot, I discovered all three were falling for Beau, and he had to pick one. Brilliant times.
I accidentally killed Beau the first time I played their lot. Oops.
The girls were suitably upset, and I quit without saving. Because the only reason I noticed this lot was because of the vampire, and without one I was a little stumped by what I could do next.
The next time I loaded the lot, the girls did this - a dramatic pose. I was very confused - I don't play this game enough to be thinking up backstories and things for these sims!
How many people can you cram in a lift before it gets awkward?
Beau truly looks like he wants to kill Barbie and Normal Girl for standing too close. Patchwork, however, is never bothered by Beau's presence, something I love about her. She's just not as desperate as Barbie and Normal, I have decided.
Naturally, fun times ensued with Beau having three admirers living with him:
Patchwork didn't care about all of the kissing, blood drinking and elevator woohoo that was happening between her flatmates, but it does look like she's face-palming over. Barbie and Normal created enough entertaining drama on their own, but Patchwork was too cool to get involved.
Which is part of the reason why I think if anyone should be with Beau, it should be her. Because while she's falling in love with him, that doesn't make her desperate for his attention - she goes about her business and stuff, and gets on with life. Which is totally cool, in my opinion.
And Beau's just an idiot for not realising how cool she was earlier xD
That's pretty much all that happened, last time I played. I'm thinking of recreating Beau and his friends in Sims 2 and seeing how crazy things go from there - I play Sims 2 much more often than Sims 3, so I think it'd be fun to play these guys in my favourite sims game. :)
Of course, if I do that, I will learn the actual names of Normal, Barbie and Patchwork. xD
