Good Genes V

beanstalk_simsApparently, it's that time again! And this challenge was so much fun the first two rounds, I couldn't miss out on trying it again!
For those of you who don't know, Good Genes is where you attempt to breed the prettiest sim possible using only maxis sims in three generations. Each year, the starting sim is different - first it was Sy Snootles, then it was Ithorian, this year it is Zhulh.
Here are my results!
There was no reason or rhyme behind the premades that I chose, I simply picked ones I like. I tell you, Zhulh's no-nose was in there for ages, and proved to be quite hard to breed out!
The spares:
From L to R - Patch, Arthur & Henry.
I have no idea where the red hair came from, which is mostly why I didn't use Patch or Henry, if I'm honest. That, and I really liked Arthur. All of them are named after characters from books that were on the nearby shelf (Patch is from Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, Arthur is from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, and Henry is from The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger).
L to R - Alaska, Cathy & Nick
Nick's generation was an odd one - Tara and Arthur's genes practically refused to merge. Alaska is almost a complete clone of her mother, while Cathy is almost a complete clone of her father. Nick looks mostly like Arthur, but has Tara's eye shape and colour, which is why I picked him.
(Alaska is from Looking For Alaska by John Green, Cathy is from Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, and Nick is from The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood)
L to R - Hero, Jane & Keli
The no-nose very nearly stayed until the end, Jane was the only one to get a nose. I was very pleased with how Jane turned out, as well as her sisters - all three are fairly pretty, in my opinion. I'm pretty sure Jane is a blend of Nick and Tessa, which is another reason why I like her. :)
(Hero is named from Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, Jane is from Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and Keli is from Mort by Terry Prachett, if my memory serves)
