The Superfrog ISBI: Finale

Right, first of all, I'd like to apologise for the seriously large amount of time it took for me to write this. There's no excuse, really - I wanted to do the challenge justice but couldn't find the words for it. This finale is only short, but I honestly struggled to tie up the loose ends. Hopefully this is an acceptable ending - I'm still not happy with it, if I'm honest.

Anyway, thanks for all the comments and stuff along the way, I'm glad you've all enjoyed the journey to this point!

It's time to finish the challenge...363 days after I started it!

Joe woke to find Sam's side of the bed cold, and empty. With a sigh, Joe sat up, tiredly switching on a light. This wasn't the first night that Sam had disappeared from the bed in the middle of the night.

"Her insomnia is getting worse, I swear," Joe murmured to himself, worried. Ever since the finale of the ISBI had come up, Sam hadn't slept properly, determined to write the final chapter.

Elsewhere, Sam gave a yawn. It was half past three in the morning, and she was long overdue for sleep. The blank word document was still minimized in her task bar, the pictures she needed to share sitting in a folder on the desk top.

Joe knew where he would find Sam, and gently entered the room to stand behind her, "How's it going?"

Sam sighed, "Still not well. I just can't seem to do this final chapter,"

Joe walked up to her, and wrapped his arms round her, "Sam, I know you want to do the challenge justice and want to write a pleasing ending, but you've been sitting on this finale for almost six months. Just write something. Please,"

"Yes, but what?" Sam demanded, "Do I just catch everyone up with what the ISBI guys are up to now?"

"Why not?" Joe smiled, "I think that could work."

* * *

So that's exactly what I'm going to do. After months of messing around with writing styles, pictures, staged shots, I decided that this would be a much better approach. Suits the rest of the ISBI, really.

First up on our list of happy endings, is Box Super, the child of Duck's alien abduction. I can't really say too much about his happy ending, mostly because it's a challenge I plan on releasing soon.

I will, however, show you the other members of Box's happy ending. This is Kit, a male cat Box adopted. I adore him.

I don't remember any of his stats other than I know he's a doofus.

The final member of Box's happy ending so far is this fella. This is Ozzy. Yeah, I adopted two male cats instead of one of each gender. I will do something about that at some point.

"Is it my turn for a happy ending now?"

Yes, Quinn, it's your turn. You guys all remember Sequin "Quinn" Super, right? She's the daughter of Duck and Katy, and Box's attention-seeking half-sister. Right now, I have no clue what I'm going to do with Quinn.

Still, I'm having fun just playing her. I may not have a challenge picked out for Quinn yet, but I am working on completing her LTW - which is fifty first dates. Quinn is a typical Pleasure sim, if you ask me.

Great. Trust Quinn to have the Reaper dropped for a $5000 date.

By the way, my game isn't borked, this is my stunt reaper. I used him for a couple of shots every now and then.

Death's happy ending is wandering the 'hood and making me laugh at every possible opportunity.

"I CAN'T SEE OUT OF THIS HOOD, HOW CAN I BIRD WATCH?!"

Back on the list on happy endings, Ink grew up to be incredibly handsome. He takes almost completely after his father - the awesome adopted-elder, Ethan - apart from the fact he got his mother's hair colour. Actually, I don't know what Ethan's hair colour was other than grey.

Anyway, Ink got a gypsy matchmaker date in my Megahood where I was casually playing him for no real reason other than I adore him, and the lucky lady dropped for him was Erin Beaker, part of the Singles household in Strangetown.

They get along really well, so I let them stay together.

Naturally, they decided to breed. I ended up with an awesome set of twins - a girl and a boy, in case you can't tell. I only just realised how much they look like both genders. Oops.

Continuing with my name scheme, on the left we have the girl, Feather, named for a feather left on my desk by my sister. And on the right, we have Game, named after an xbox game that is sitting casually on my desk.

They both look incredibly like Ink, and not very like Erin.

I don't play most of the spares - most of them didn't roll wants for families and jobs, but fun and parties. However, Angel here, the daughter of Story and her prince charming, Kennedy, rolled family, and the want to fall in love.

I gave in and let her have a happy ending, too. This is her husband, Jack. I've forgotten his surname. He was also a gypsy drop.

Angel and Jack had a seriously-adorable son, who is named Mort - after the Terry Prachett book Mort, which is sitting on my desk.

Now, because Jack is face-one, I expected Mort to be adorable.

I was not wrong! He's the most adorable thing ever right now.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he looks like when he's grown a bit.

In fact, all of these guys should be fun to play when they're a bit older - I'm going to send the three of them to uni together, even though they're only second cousins now. I think. The family tree is really complicated.

Meanwhile, Sam and Joe are enjoying their happy ending, too. Which basically means they run around on freewill, abusing ACR and generally being an adorable couple.

See what I mean? Too adorable.

Well, that's it for the Superfrog ISBI! I'll be releasing a challenge using Box soon - Box is acting as the guinea pig for Esme's Crazy Cat Lover Challenge. So expect to see that soon. Also, any suggestions for what I can do with Quinn are welcome.

I hope you've enjoyed this challenge as much as I have.

Thanks for reading!
