Building Rubix: Week One

I couldn't help myself. xD I know I have a lot of things to update, but this has been so much fun, I just couldn't help myself. So here we are, my first ever BaCC! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing it, because it is my favourite thing to play right now.

Disclaimer: I wasn't planning on publishing this, so it is short and jumps around quite a bit, and will continue to do so until Week Three. Sorry about that.




 
Meet my founder, Wesley Robinson. From here on out, he'll be known as Wes. He was born during my turn of a round robin legacy, and while the RRL hasn't been updated in over a year, I figured no one would mind if I used Wes for my founder.



First of all, Wes gets looking for a treasure chest. It'll pay for Rubix's first business. 



He really wasn't that successful. First sim I've ever known to find a water pipe on his first go. Fantastic. 

Well, the only way is up, no? : ) 



"I'm so FLAWLESS! This face is so handsome!" 

It's been so long since I had a sim who primped on their own, it's a lot of fun having outgoing sims about again. 



Wow, this was a seriously lucky find! I'd have been happy with statues or whatever, but I am glad we got this. Hooray, it won't be long until we get our first business!



But before we get that far, the Welcome Wagon arrives...and the Matchmaker. Wes and Michelle Tse hit it off immediately. 



And I *really* mean hit it off. They've got two bolts, and I'm not even telling them to flirt. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for couples who choose themselves, so naturally, I'm going to leave these two to it.



After Wes was done flirting, he opened this place: Robinson's Little Bar. Named because it was so tiny. And that coffee counter was swapped for a bar. For some reason, juice was selling better than java. 



I have clean templates in now, so no more Goopys or whatever. Instead, we get guys like this - and you'll never guess what name this guy has spawned with. Shannon Long.

I guess Shannon can be a girl's name? Maybe?



And Shannon's not the weirdest of customers. This is Kana, who is clearly a runaway bride. I mean, come on, veil and gym gear? 



After getting the business to Rank 4, Wes returned home and phoned up his woman. Michelle and Wes continued to flirt without any direction from me.



Though kissing was completely off limits, apparently. Michelle turned Wes down completely, which lead to a moment of awkward silence.



For some reason, they were fine kissing about five minutes later. Sim love, who understands it? 







Naturally, their relationship progressed. I do like it when a plan comes together. Wes moved Michelle in, she got a makeover, and he proposed. 



A quick, living room marriage later, Wes and Michelle decided to add to the population. Hooray for being useful!



"Um, Michelle, what are you doing?"

"Wes, how did you fall into the waves of the Twikkii Ocean?"

"Michelle?"



It's not long before Michelle is forced to leave her pirate ship in order to pop into her interesting orange pyjamas. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of kids these two make!



Um, yeah. Apparently there was nothing worth noting during the whole of Michelle's pregnancy, despite the fact Wes was down at the bar. Robinson's Little Bar is now Rank 5 - hooray!!

And it's doing quite well. The Robinsons could afford an expansion on their house.



Wes and Michelle welcomed a little boy into their family, who was named Matthew. I asked my twelve year old sister to name to the baby, and that was the name she picked.

I'll probably shorten it to Matt.



Even with running the business, Wes still finds time for his son. Which is always nice to see. So far Matt seems to look exactly like Wes, but we'll see how that goes.



The week is just coming to an end as Matt's birthday arrives. 



He's adorable!
