Building Rubix: Week Three, Loreen

Welcome back to my BaCC! I've had this done for a number of days now, but I'm lazy. And I'm well over half way through the rotation now, because I have loved playing it. Also, Seasons *finally* arrived - Rubix can have weather now!! :D



This is going to be a rather short update, if I'm honest, because the Loreens didn't get up to much this week. However, the Thayers and the Camerons compensate for that! xD



We start off the week with the arrival of the Loreen's baby. Jo's been wandering Rubix heavily pregnant for awhile, so it seems it's about time, really.



It's a boy! Everyone, this is Simon Loreen. That adds to the number of boys we have in Rubix at the moment. I find it odd that we have so many.



Gavin's townie friends like to introduce themselves to the new born. Like Shannon here. Who couldn't work out why the stinky baby was upset.

I think Shannon should possibly avoid breeding.



Then it was birthday time. I was serious when I said not much happened during the rotation!



Simon is a cutie! He's got Jo's nose!!

And he can't keep that hairstyle, that's Berjes Cameron's hairstyle.



Look how adorable he is! I love him. He seems to be mostly Gavin, with Jo's nose.



I don't care how adorable you are, Simon, playing in the toilet isn't cute. It's just messy. 

Though I should have expected it really. All of my toddlers seem to choose toilets over toys.



Gavin gave Simon a bath after his adventures in the toilet.

"There, nice and clean. How about we stop playing in the toilet and start playing with the toys instead?"



Oh look, more babies! YAY! 

Jo rolled the want for this one, and I was happy to let her have the child. I do like fulfilling wants.



Good boy. Draw and build and get skill points for it. 

Although, that said, I don't like forcing my toddlers and children to skill. And teens only skill if they're after a scholarship or a promotion in their jobs. I'm a cruel simmer in some respects, and seriously soft in others. 



Jo's baby elephant is nearly here, so it's time to pop in on one of the family businesses. 

With Gavin. Jo's staying at home with Simon.



Yay! A good witch! I can live with them hanging about on the lot.

Those evil witches are annoying me a lot, lately, keep throwing cockroaches everywhere.



Gavin gives up trying to sell and make money, and hangs out with the witch instead.

Because I think having a witch in Rubix would be cool.



"Don't you think I would make the greatest good witch ever? I could use my witch powers to make money!"

"Um..."



"I'm going to go, Gavin, but it was, er, nice, talking to you..."

"You will make me a witch one day, right?"

"Fat chance."



Back home, Jo goes into labour. And she doesn't seem particularly bothered by it, really.

"This doesn't hurt at all!"



A girl! Yay! We seem to run low on girls in this 'hood! 

This is Greta Loreen, everyone.



Look who grew up! He definitely has Gavin's mouth.

And those look like Gavin's eyes, too.

There we go. All of the Loreens! And Greta's birthday!



She's almost completely Gavin, but look how cute she is!!



They may not be as close as Wes and Elara Robinson, but they're still quite sweet together.

And that's it for this week at the Loreens! Next up will be the Thayer family.
