The other day (last weekend? Possibly?) I was bored, and decided to tell you guys about it. And you all had wonderful ideas on things I could do with my game! So I tried my hand at a few of the challenges, but instead ended up playing some bizarre toned-down version of [livejournal.com profile] nightbreaking's "The Verification Project". And by that, I mean I am now trying to get one guy to be as many creatures as possible instead of playing the challenge I intended to.

Um, it's been so much fun! Honestly. So I figured I'd show you guys a little bit of it. You'll find it all under the cut. :)

L-R: Ratchet Garth, Heidi Krunkles-Garth, Kevin Garth, Rob Krunkles, Alon Bigfoot & Fern Krunkles

Rob Krunkles is the simself of my boyfriend, and the sim I am currently trying to make as many creatures as I possibly can.

This was Rob before his many transformations. I haven't finished playing the challenge yet, I still need Aliens, Vampires, Werewolves and a Genie, but I'm getting closer.

I had Rob adopt a child - if he was going to be a zombie, someone needed to go to university before they could rise through the Paranormal career and get a bonephone. Hence why Heidi came into the family.

I adore Heidi. I couldn't ask for a better adopted-child, really. She even rolled Knowledge, which is Rob's aspiration, so she's just as nutty as he is - she's rolled the want to become a zombie right now in game!

The first creature I attempted to get was a witch or warlock. And typically, it took forever for me to find a witch. Seriously, they're all over community lots, causing havoc, when I don't need them...the minute Rob decided to hang out with them, they disappeared.

He eventually found Ericka Phelps, though. And naturally, the quickest way to befriend a wicked witch is to seduce her.

It worked, and Rob Krunkles became an Evil Warlock. I've since had him study neutral magic. No particular reason, it just seemed practical to have him a nice, middle-ground warlock.

Luckily for me, Rob's next transformation was right around the corner - which was super lucky because it was almost winter, when the plants would've died, and then we'd have to wait until spring. But no, Rob became a plantsim fairly quickly.

I decided to get Bigfoot next. Don't know why, I just did.

Three Lakes was fun! Honestly, much of it was spent digging and looking for a map to Hidden Burrows, but it gave Heidi a chance to befriend every tourist who stepped onto the lot, as well as learn the chest pound.

Anyway, eventually it was time to meet bigfoot.

Hey, that's pretty cool. Went pretty well, he taught them how to slap dance.

You're not going to be able to guess what happened next. Seriously, try. I bet you'll never guess it.

ROB DIED. He needed some sunlight, so I sent him out to gaze at clouds for a bit, and he got hit by a satellite. I didn't know that could happen during the day! This is also the first time I have legitimately got a sim squashed by a satellite without cheating, too. Bad timing, or what!

Four hundred points to you if you guessed correctly.

After that, Three Lakes glitched up. The social worker never showed up to claim poor orphan Heidi, Heidi couldn't check out and go home, or anything...it looked like the challenge was over and the 'hood was borked.

Well, using the sim teleporter, some helpful volunteers from the sim bin, the sim modder, and a phone, I managed to get Heidi moved in with the Goodies, where I aged her to a teenager, and sent her to Sim State University.

She got some nice scholarships for being an orphan, too.

As far as I'm aware, the 'hood is still pretty borked - the place Rob and Heidi were staying is still greyed out on the menus as if someone is staying there, and I've had those speech bubbles filled with the fuzzy lines. If carry on playing this 'hood after I'm done with the Krunkles, then I will have to rebuild.

Anyway, university is not fun. Not when you have one sim to control, who is content to study, sleep and slap dance her way through college. So I played it on speed three whilst reading.

So yeah, this is the only picture of Heidi's college days.

Heidi graduated top of the class in psychology, and returned home in a dress that's not really her style. Particularly not with that MP3 player, anyway. Though they are both green.

She was able to get into the Paranormal career three days after coming home as a Hypnotist, one promotion away from getting a bone phone.

Hooray, the challenge was saved! Rob was back, and now he was also a zombie. Which has kind of ruined my plans as far as alien abductions go - Rob is now infertile, being a zombie, and cannot be impregnated by aliens as far as I'm aware.

Well, at least not without the use of boolprop.

Anyway, soon it was back abroad to grab Alon, who was delighted to move in, and this time, no one died.

The reason I wanted Bigfoot? He has all the talent badges and skills. He's going to make our servo.

Which I suppose is possibly a little bit cheat-y, because I guess Rob should technically do it, but Rob went and died getting Bigfoot, so I'm going to allow this.

Meanwhile, Heidi fell in love. This is Kevin Garth, a butler dropped for her by a wishing well. I moved him in pretty quickly.

Planning ahead, again, I made sure I had a plantsim on the lot in case when Rob becomes a vampire he can't handle the sunlight/being allergic to sunlight business. I'm sure he'll be fine, it's just going to be a bit annoying, but I like planning ahead.

Heidi ended up with an organic little sister named Fern.

I didn't think about it until afterwards, but Kevin started up Ratchet, so Ratchet took his surname. I think I may have to have Alon make another servo so I can have one started up by Rob.

Also, what is it with my sims fighting with their in-laws? I swear it doesn't happen this often in other people's games.

And this is what I'll open the game to next time I play - Kevin and Rob fighting on Heidi's wedding day. Such a strange little family we have here! I absolutely love playing them.

Anyway, I just thought I'd show you guys what I'm up to. :)
