Recap: Talk of the Town

Someone mentioned they were having trouble keeping up with all the couples and drama in Project Sim State, so I figured, seeing as we're halfway through the uni years, now would be a good time to go over it all.

Refresh the memories and all that. I don't know. Maybe it'll be useful for some people. I know I struggle to keep up sometimes!

Anyway, the recap is presented sim-by-sim, in alphabetical order according to first names.

Allegra Gorey

Dating Martin Ruben

Allegra has claimed Martin Ruben as hers since her first few days at Sim State, and while that hasn't ever changed in her opinion, that hasn't stopped her from fooling around with frat boy, Castor Nova. Allegra is now in love with both men, and struggling to choose which one she'd rather marry.

Her promiscuity with Castor Nova cost Allegra her best friend, Jane Stacks, leaving Allegra with no notable friendships.



Ashley Pitts

Often 'with' Heather Huffington

Despite being a Romance sim, Ashley has kissed, woohoo'd and hung out with only one girl. Personally, I think this is rather sweet, and that Heather and Ashley should most definitely spend the rest of their lives together. Ashley would tell you that they're friends and that's all. Maybe with a few added benefits. It still wouldn't surprise me if the pair of them got an apartment together after graduation.

Speaking of graduation, Ashley is due to graduate two semesters ahead of most of the students currently at Sim State, ending his college years in the 6th Rotation.



Brittany Upsnott

Engaged to Erik Swain

Brittany started her life out at Sim State by working at being the most miserable and lonely girl on campus. And while in some respects Brittany still makes life hard for herself, she's finally got a bit further with her plans for happiness - by dating the man of her dreams, Erik Swain. Lucky for her, her housemate Tiffany screwed up the relationship she originally had with Erik...

Brit's two best friends currently live with her, Heather and Tiffany, though Brittany will have to leave them soon, as she graduates in the 6th Rotation, like Ashley Pitts.

Dating Tiffany Sampson

Castor's smooth touch with the ladies has brought him a lot of trouble during his time at Sim State. He started his freshman year by dating Jane Stacks, the girl he eventually got engaged to, whilst seeing her housemate, Allegra on the side. Due to the fact Jane caught him with her flatmate, the engagement was broken off, leaving Castor single again. He used this power to continue seeing Allegra - despite her long-term boyfriend - and jumping into bed with Tiffany Sampson, leading to the end of her relationship with Erik Swain.

Castor Nova has broken many hearts in his time at SSU, and is currently trying to decide which of his loves to propose to.

Engaged to Brittany Upsnott

Erik started off shyly meeting his first girlfriend, Tiffany Sampson - back then she seemed quiet, and out-of-place in the Sorority she lived in. However, time passed and Tiffany broke Erik's heart by sleeping with another man at a party - Castor Nova. Shortly after, a friendship between Brittany and Erik sprung up, and after taking it slow for a short while, the pair became an item.

The couple are still together, engaged, and planning to be married after graduation. Neither has been unfaithful.

Often 'with' Ashley Pitts

Whilst technically a Romance sim, Heather hasn't really been as promiscuous as expected. In fact, Heather spends most of her time with one man - her friend-with-benefits, Ashley Pitts. However, that hasn't stopped her fooling around with Jimmy Phoenix on the side.

Nevermind the fact he's a taken man, who is now considering proposing to her...



Jane Stacks
Graduate

Jane is the first and most recent graduate from SSU, leaving with a degree in Physics. This sweet and girly lady clearly has a lot of smarts in her head! Unfortunately, Jane left without any form of partner - but had been flirting and romancing with Allegra's partner, Martin, before she left.

Who knows, maybe the relationship will go pear-shaped and Martin will join Jane in the real world.



Jared Starchild

Engaged to Sierra [dormie]

Even though Jared's wife-to-be, Sierra, is the love of his life, Jared's still had a bit of a fun time with the college dating. Despite proposing in his Freshman year, Jared has since flirted with his best friend, Ty Bubbler, and jumped into bed with Tiffany Sampson. Whilst his connections with Tiffany were quickly severed, and his friendship with Ty being nothing more than a bromance, there's still plenty of time for Jared to find someone else who isn't Sierra...

Or perhaps, he might just remain faithful and marry her at the end of university. If all else fails, Jared will always have his BFF Ty to fall back on.



Jimmy Phoenix

Dating Sam Thompson

Jimmy met Sam early on his university years - very early on. And while he loves the girl to pieces, he can't help but feel something is missing, clearly. That's his excuse for spending a lot of time with Heather from the sorority - that's why she's always over at the dorms when Sam is in class. However, Jimmy's beginning to think he loves Heather, more than he loves Sam.

Surely his proposal to Heather won't go wrong, will it?



Joshua Ruben

Joshua is not what people expect him to be - he's not the girl-crazy frat boy they expect. After dating cheerleader Cherry Lee, and having the relationship go nowhere in particular, Joshua spent a short amount of time with Tiffany Sampson. He genuinely cared for Tiffany, and would have held up that relationship - if she'd been as serious as he was about it.

Perhaps the time for Joshua to find a girlfriend will come soon.



Kevin Beare

Engaged to Brenda [dormie]

Kevin's been engaged to his triple-bolt lover for some time now, and he's put a brief moment of flirting with Tiffany Sampson in his past. Surely now that he's found his true love, he will settle down with her in a nice house with a kid or two. Maybe five. Six? Ten?

All Kevin knows, is that he wants six kids to marry off one day. Let's hope Brenda supports that dream.

Martin's come a long way from the geeky boy he was in the beginning of his college days. He's had more girls heart-farting over him than his popular brother, Joshua, and Martin hasn't fled from the opportunity to romance the girls he lives with. Though with college in its second half now, Martin should probably get around to proposing to his girlfriend, right?

...But what about that sweet Jane Stacks he was also sort-of seeing?

Sam couldn't be happier - she's got the man of her dreams, the best friends a girl could ever want, nothing could ruin this for her. Not even those rumours she'd heard about Jimmy and Heather...perhaps she should be the one to propose to him!

That said, Jimmy could be a little jealous of how close Sam is to Ty and Jared...

Tiffany's gone from being that quiet girl with the steady boyfriend to the girl everyone knows almost overnight. Her brief affair with Castor Nova that ended her relationship turned out not to be so brief - she finally has a boyfriend who doesn't freak out when she kisses other men. Or flirts with them. Or brings them back to the bedroom. The notches on Tiffany's bedpost so far? Including all those flirts and flings? Erik, Joshua, Kevin, Jared & Castor. No, she's not a romance sim, why do you ask?

Tiffany definitely has no plans for engagement yet. Castor will understand.

Ty's relationship with his boyfriend Nery has suffered only one blip in the past - thanks to a cow mascot - but now things are back on track, Ty couldn't be happier. Sure, he's not engaged, but one day he will be. And then his best friend Jared can be the best man.

You know, if Jared stops fighting with Nery, first.
