Part Five: Falling Into Place
Hey there, everyone!

I'm back again with more Sim State mishaps!

And if you've missed any of the previous drama, there's an index page just for you! Though to be fair, you could just read the recap and jump right in.

Anyway, let's get to it.

First of all, though, we're going to visit the first household in the main neighbourhood. The main neighbourhood that I still haven't given a proper name to - I really should get onto that.

Anyway, this wonderful house was built for the Tumbleton project over at tumblr, and it made an excellent starter house for newest graduate, Jane Stacks.

See how happy she is in her new home? Actually, she doesn't get up to much. And I struggle to find sims living on their own interesting.

So Jane rolled the want to adopt a kitten. And that want was fulfilled, with little Rita here. I guess Jane misses her womrat back at Sim State, because it's still there.

Hopefully Allegra or Martin will remember to feed it.

Rita grew up rather quickly - like the day after we got her quickly. I wasn't expecting that.

And because Jane doesn't have any ambitions career-wise, she ended up working in Medicine. When I left the lot, she was a paramedic or a nurse or something.

Anyway, that's enough on Jane. Back to university!

"Um...Allegra...could you not make out with men in front of me?"

We rejoin the Bright Household to find Allegra stuck to Castor Nova's face. While her boyfriend, Martin, stands there awkwardly. I have no idea why he stands for this - he could do better!

It's actually getting on my nerves now. A huge part of me WANTS Allegra to get caught, because then I could work on finding Martin someone else. Like Jane. Who he is adorable with.

Plus Allegra can't be that serious about Martin - she's not rolled the want to be engaged to him at all, but currently has the want to be engaged to Castor. And I tend to play based on their wants.

Martin, come on! They're RIGHT THERE!

ABOUT TIME.

I ended up playing with the jealousy settings on the ACR controller. Now everything should function properly! No more sneaking around in front of each other anymore!

I am almost convinced I want to take ACR out of my game again.

Anyway, it's back to this old tactic. I refuse to have fights and everything.

And to think, this household started off as the incredibly nice and happy to the point where it was boring. How things change!

That is Jane you're seeing there - the game didn't load her properly when she came over. It's kind of annoying me big-time that these things keep happening. Because it makes playing Sims 2 incredibly awkward.

Sims 3 runs as smooth as anything, but Sims 2? Nope. Not possible. Even after I turned my graphics down. D:

Maybe there's something on the batbox to fix it? (I really need to get around to downloading the batbox...)

Um, yeah, this is why Jane came over. Not to ruin pictures with her lack of a face, but to woohoo Martin.

I think they made up their minds and want to be together.

Which, for some reason, Allegra isn't happy about.

"How DARE you be happy without me!"

Sigh. So much chess.

At least these two had some sort of friendship by the end of the semester.

The semester ended with Dean's Lists and good grades, and a newly-separated couple who were actually rather happy with their new partners.

Next up, Tri-Var!

Which is a mess. Never have the punch barrel in the study, I guess.

Even if there isn't room for it anywhere else.

Of course, the girls don't clean the place themselves. Their funds from studying and passing actually means they can pay a maid to do it - like most of the households on campus.

Leaving the girls with more time to goof off.

Oh, and gossip, of course. Brittany and Heather are always gossiping.

Though I very rarely know what they're gossiping about.

I suppose it's not like there's a shortage of gossip on the Sim State campus.

Oh, and the girls got a pool table. Which, for some reason, is in the hallway in this picture.

It was later moved upstairs, as part of the renovations.

See? The boys love to use it when they come over.

Which is quite often - I like throwing massive get-togethers in the sorority, and the fraternity as well.

Look who are being adorable completely of their own freewill!

I must admit, I do hope this means Castor will sort out those wants for proposing to two girls.

And, Jimmy and Heather have stopped making out and things all over the sorority. It's like Jimmy's made up his mind and settled for the wonderful lady he already has. Not that Sam knew he was sneaking around.

Of course, Heather and Ashley were all over each other. Again. Seriously - they may not be an official couple, but I do think they're great together.

Yay, awkward bedroom gathering! I have no idea why Joshua is in there, too.

Erik and Brittany eventually did get some privacy.

And I keep going to type "Tiffany" every time I mean "Brittany". So if I've mixed them two up at all in the update, I'm sorry.

You know, Jimmy is probably one of the most popular guys on campus. Seriously, he's friends with just about everyone. While Sam quietly follows him around because she's much shyer than he is.

Actually, I don't know for certain if she's shy. She just comes across that way. I really should check her stats.

And of course, the other guys found the bubble blower and now never go home.

While Tiffany joins them, and rolls wants for Jared. Which is bizarre, but that's fine. I can live with it - she hasn't acted on them so far.

Meet Ivy Hamilton, the placeholder!

Yes, I finally remembered her name! She just moved into the sorority.

She's still getting used to it, though.

Like Brittany trying to take her out with a baseball.

And that's all from the sorority, folks!

Next up is the Frat, where I have a whopping seven pictures and that's it. Either not a lot happened, or I didn't pay attention, or I couldn't be bothered or...I'm going to stop making excuses now.

We join the Frat Brothers to find Joshua with Cherry - he rolled the want to invite her over.

Now, I really can't make my mind up about these two. Sometimes it seems like he's keen on her, and then at other times, it seems like he couldn't care less. I guess I'll just have to watch and see how they go.

I would like for them to be together, you know. I think they'd make adorable children.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, Castor wrote a novel, because he rolled the want to. It was called "The Man With Many Hearts" and was about a man needing to love more than one girl at a time or one of his hearts would explode. I have no idea - that was what I typed in when the box popped up.

It wasn't a bestseller, but now all the Frat Brothers want to write novels.

Except Ashley, who couldn't care less.

Under that mass of glitched hair, you'll find Tiffany. About to woohoo with Joshua in the hot tub - he made a booty call to her.

Well, I have no idea what to do with Joshua. Here's hoping he picks a girl once and for all eventually.

Tiffany's hair sorted itself out in time for a woohoo with Castor.

Just because Allegra finally finished with Martin for him doesn't mean this changes things for Castor. Jerk.

Maybe one day Castor will make up his mind.

"Hooray, they're back together!"

I have no idea. Joshua and Cherry are probably the most on-again-off-again couple we have here at Sim State.

Watch this space? I don't know.

Hey look, it's those two guys who didn't do anything during the semester at the fraternity!

Um, yeah, everyone passed. Ashley's in his last semester now, just like Brittany is.

Meanwhile, I altered one of the houses on Peanut Street to make it big enough for the Freshman Household!

I really wish I could change their household name, you know. Now that they're juniors, being the Freshman Household seems kind of silly.

Anyway, the first thing Jimmy and Sam did was break in the new bed. Which is fine, but that's not their bedroom - it's Erik's.

Also, the want to propose to Heather has disappeared from Jimmy's want panel.

All is well!

Downstairs, Ty's boyfriend Nery let himself in. I'm thinking he must have a mass of outgoing points in order to do that, but I can't check. Actually, I probably could check, but I'm not going to.

Anyway, Nery spends a lot of his time hanging around the house now.

As do many other students! We held a house-warming party, or get-together, or whatever, and it was quite a good time.

It was also a good opportunity for Ivy to make some friends, seeing as she's the newest member of Tri-Var, and therefore, my cast of Sim State students.

I really like Ivy.

And everywhere you looked, there were couples romancing.

Upstairs, Erik and Brittany were making out.

Outside, Jared and Sierra were swooning.

And of course they used the same bed as every other couple on the lot.

I wonder why sims do that. I mean, there's three double beds on the lot. Why use this one?

The next day, things were quieter.

I threw some of my boyfriend's artwork into the paintings folder so that Jared can have some pretty things to paint. :D

Yeah, it was pretty much just studying the day after the party. Even though everyone had maxed their little bar things.

I suppose extra skill points won't hurt.

I also found it ridiculously adorable when Ty was painting. You have Erik and Jared, both art students, producing master pieces, and then there's Ty, gaining his first creativity point.

I just think it's great. I have no idea why.

Anyway, the semester ended with good grades and so on, as did the rotation.

I hope you enjoyed it, see you next time!!
